Mohammed Hijab Bro Muhammad Hijab, I have advice for you: 1) Always Recite Audhubillahi min ashaytan nir rajeem....before reciting any verse of the Quran. 2) Please say Sallallahu alayhi wa salaam, at least once when you mention the name of our beloved Prophet ﷺ. I love you for the sake of Allah and this is only an advice from me to you. I understand you want to sound neutral, but we need to remind ourselves of our obligations towards our beautiful Deen.

I was in present during this discussion and bro a piece of constructive feedback: sometimes adopting a more straightforward, simple approach with the basic principles of Islam as an argument is better and more suited to the person than talking about higher level stuff like the nature of science etc. She was surprised to learn Islam is older than she thought...just basic things like that can work wonders, we don't always need to discuss evolution etc.

I actually like her, she seems like a genuine open-minded and good-hearted woman. May Allah guide her. Amine.
@roberteriksen64346 жыл бұрын
I always wondered how this thought works. You find her as a genuine open-minded and good-hearted woman, which is fine. What would be the point of punishing a person who is genuine about her beliefs? And what would be the point of enternal punishment? It's not like she's lying or even denying.
@bluesky88696 жыл бұрын
Robert Eriksen You forgot the part where I said she "seems like". I don't know it for sure, that's the point, I'm not God, I don't know what's in her mind, I don't even know her personally, so I can only judge from what I see on the outside from a 30 min long video, and what I see is a person who seems to me like a genuine open-minded and good-hearted woman. And if that's what she really is inside, and if she seeks guidance and really wants to discover the truth, then I have no doubt God will guide her inshallah.
@roberteriksen64346 жыл бұрын
Assuming then that she is genuin, good-hearted and all that, but is never convinced that the Quranic God exist. It would be the easiest task in the world for a God to convince such a woman to believe he exist, yet never does. Worst of all, he is sending her to hell forever because he didn't convince her. Surely, if he was interested in her wellbeing, he could solve this matter instantly? What's the point of keeping such a loving, goodhearted and genuin person in the dark, and then punishing her for it afterwards?

Please don't insult the woman for her belief, rather have faith that she will find guidance. Insulting someone doesn't make you any better, and realise at the end of the day we're all humans so we shouldn't be against each other just because so and so has different beliefs to us.

The major problem I have with Athiests is that when they're out matched intellectually, they start cracking jokes or acting arrogant. Sometimes you need to admit that you're wrong.

Dylan 1888 brother it have a context. Regarding jews planing to accept islam morning and leaving islam at evening and such kind of cheatings to spread doubt in the mind of muslims. And it have some aspects of cheating a government. Its answered by all major speakers. Just have a look. Im lil busy now. If you want i can assist you. In shah allah

abcdzxcd Al-Bukhaari (6922) narrated that Ibn ‘Abbaas said: The Messenger of Allaah (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said: “Whoever changes his religion, put him to death.” Al-Bukhaari (6484) and Muslim (1676) narrated that ‘Abd-Allaah ibn Mas’ood said: The Messenger of Allaah (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said: “It is not permissible to shed the blood of a Muslim who bears witness that there is no god except Allaah and that I am the Messenger of Allaah, except in one of three cases: a soul for a soul (i.e., in the case of murder); a previously-married person who commits zina; and one who leaves his religion and separates from the main body of the Muslims.” The general meaning of these ahaadeeth indicates that it is essential to put the apostate to death whether he is waging war on Islam (muhaarib) or not.
@uponsunnah69866 жыл бұрын
Dylan 1888 you probably also think that anyone who steals anything under Islamic law is to have their hands cut off.... Lol. There are 100s of people who leave Islam every month around the world. Do you see them being killed. You and Isis think alike. The difference between you and Isis is your born in a different environment. You both think alike... Which is disturbing.
@Dylan-wn8er6 жыл бұрын
asdf asdf I copy and pasted this from an islamic website. The reason they are not being killed is because they live in non muslim non sharia law countries. Saudi Arabia is sharia law and they put apostates to death.

Nice thought, subhanAllaah. I went to the park that day and was present during this discussion. This is how it ended: Hijab took them both for a coffee and he sat and spoke to them away from the hustle and bustle. They came back and left shortly after. He said the discussion went well and the lady is actually a work colleague of his.

Dylan 1888 I am much happy to disagree with you and allow me to correct you . The a Hadith (Saying) from Prophet Mohammed peace be upon him regarding the apostates it was when islam While was weak and still growing among Jews, Christians and Pagans, Muslims did not have the full and complete religion that they needed. Some Jews and Christians wanted to take advantage of such situation to destroy Islam. They had a plan to adopt Islam first and then desert it, thus creating the impression that Islam was not a religion worth adopting. Let us look at Noble Verse 3:72 "A section of the People of the Book (Jews and Christians) say: Believe in the morning what is revealed to the believers (Muslims), but reject it at the end of the day; perchance they may (themselves) turn back (from Islam)." To protect Islam from such Satanic attempts done by a group of the people of the book (Jews and Christians), Prophet Mohammed peace be upon him ordered the death of those who enter Islam and leave it. This temporary law that was put by our Prophet had stopped the hypocrites from the People of the Book who carried so much hatred toward Islam to enter Islam and desert it afterwards. In many places through out the Qur'an Allaah says; Noble Verse 4:137 "Those who believe, then reject faith, then believe (again) and (again) reject faith, and go on increasing in unbelief,- Allah will not forgive them nor guide them nor guide them on the way." Noble Verses 109:1-6 "Say : O ye that reject Faith! I worship not that which ye worship, Nor will ye worship that which I worship. And I will not worship that which ye have been wont to worship, Nor will ye worship that which I worship. To you be your Way, and to me mine." Let us look at Noble Verse 42:15 "Now then, for that (reason), call (them to the Faith), and stand steadfast as thou art commanded, nor follow thou their vain desires; but say: 'I believe in the Book which God has sent down; and I am commanded to judge justly between you. God is our Lord and your Lord: for us (is the responsibility for) our deeds, and for you for your deeds. There is no contention between us and you. God will bring us together, and to Him is (our) Final Goal.'" Notice that the Quran says those who reject faith and then BELIEVE and again DISBELIEVE. if a Muslim rejects faith and is then killed for doing so how will he live to again BELIEVE and then DISBELIEVE. The atmosphere of this verse is that of free will and freedom of choice to everyone. If Allah wanted he would have said something about the punishment, if there was any, of those who reject Islam after accepting it. but Allah takes this to be clearly a private matter between them and Allah. The Noble Quran in all of the above Noble Verses is crystal clear about providing freedom of religion and choice to all people, Muslims and non-Muslims.

@fatimahurayra92936 жыл бұрын
Ali M I see it as a conversation not a debate. Convos have digressions depending on where each person takes it. I think it was food for thought
@Ali-hl1ri6 жыл бұрын
fatima abbas My opinion was based in brother hijabs past videos, whether it's a debate, convo or discussion is irrelevant really. ALL of brother hijabs past videos have intrigued me apart from this one. This is my point and completely personal to me.

Why does Mohammed use evidential apologetics? Don't you presuppose that God exists?
@fatimahurayra92936 жыл бұрын
Anthony maybe because the atheists don't presuppose the same thing?
@anthonygloria51926 жыл бұрын
fatima abbas And that's the problem. No amount of evidential apologetics will change that.
