Om Sai how to remove ignorance

Dear Savitha, in the spiritual path, ignorance is when we limit ourself to the material form (body) which is bound by positions, possessions and relations. For example, we think of ourself as being a teacher, a housewife or an engineer (position), a father, brother or son (relations) or the person who lives in Flat 5a, or the house at the crossroads etc. (possessions). Mohanji tells us that we have to go beyond these identifications and find the true essence of ourself- our soul. We can do this gradually, by observing how our mind works at all times when we are awake. Contemplating on what we become aware of is essential. The company of pure minded people (sathsangh) is very helpful. Last and very important: consistently connecting to a true Master, one who has crossed the limitations of the mind is like bringing a powerful light that will dispel the darkness of ignorance within.
