I never saw him on the TV or on the internet, but these particular lyrics have always been played a couple of times some times when I drive and it is such a painful experience to lose somebody like you even at this time. Now the justice of God has been served though its painful but the evil perpetrators are in permanent silence now. Even at death, Mohbad is still speaking. RIP MOHBAD.

Very very very good Job my dear sister.. Kakiri lodo Awon Aboki he meant smoking from one Aboki Store/shop to another. Like in Lagos, people who usually smoke cigarettes, go to the housa man’s store, smoke and leave randomly instead of buying a whole pack. This is common among the young cigarettes smokers because they don’t want their parents to know, or adults who can’t afford whole park, meanwhile some are depressed and heartbroken.. not the aboki hawking around but those with stores and shops.. So he said his wife left him doing that… like my wife is good ? You left me and I was smoking from one aboki store to the other ( of course depressed)

Imagine that line he said..... people have car, but don't wanna use it rather they will hop on other people's bike and use it until it damages. They wanna tear his knicker which is his life/ career and still be his teacher on how to live his life.😢 Even his babe left him for those with big money and he was left in heartbroken and depression with cigarette smoking leading to his juvenile hypertension.😢😢 Justice for IMOLEMOHBAD😭😭 JusticeforMohbad

I love your work so much and how you are immortalizing our Imole and I have followed through on Mohbad's work, as a poet mostly, because I love to read alot and he has an inspiring and muse-ful(sic) body of work. On the part he said 'Which kind person be this'. I think its a rhetorical question, where his accusers and oppressors are asking themselves, 'what kind of person is this?' Like what sort of human is this Mohbad? why are we hurting him and he is just living his life not seeing us or hearing what we do. Nice work you are doing anyway and art is all perspective and subject to different understandings. Also, I am glad his work is exciting such intellectual analysis.

Thanks for breaking this down. What you said actually makes sense. He is saying he acts like he doesn’t see, acts like he doesn’t hear, and he is still the focal point when he asks which kind person be this. Nice!! And yes I love when people bring their own perspectives of songs it’s so good.

My Dear Sister thank you so much for the Lyrical explanation. I am a Mandinka from the Gambia so understanding Yoroba is kinda had but i can collect some bit and pieces there and there. But you have did it all, and Thanks. Now i definitely know what Mobad is saying. To be frank enough i dont know Mobad. I just heard the Sad news and start following and reading about the tragic event which is so stressful. I always ask Why are we Killing our Own best Talents. Is like I know Mobad ( IMole ) since he start singing. But i definitely start to listen to him the very day his death was announced. That definitely leaves a mark on me. So since then am listening to his Music everyday. And deep down in my Heart am always crying and weeping inside. Please my Sister can you Translate the track Beast and Peace. Plzzz and Plzzzz ahh bek.

Hi I definitely understand and his death has been felt from people who knew him and people who didn’t know him. That’s the power of leaving an impact and many people can relate to some struggles he faced (broken home, hard life, bully, fake friends and family). We are human so our hearts can still cry out when someone dies even if we don’t know them. Beast and peace translation: kzbin.info/www/bejne/pGqYlIeNrbyshsUsi=Wb-VSi_AD7ge_ua7

I Swear My Syster, WalayTalai, Mobad had in impact on me. 3 days now i can sleep properly, am always thinking of him, in my house or in the car am listening to him constantly. But now seeing you translating his lyrics is making me realise that the reason I can connect, is we not that much different. But by the grace of the God Almighty we keep pushing Imole. I got that word from him😊. I believe and pray that he is smiling in Paradise 🙏🙏🙏. From your Explanation, I have a quote which am gonna put on my signature in memory of Mobad and that word ( Surulele Imole) if i am right Patient to Success and Light at the End. If i am right please let me know.
@simbihawt Жыл бұрын
Surulere by itself is complete. It’s the idea that patience is profitable or rewarding. You can take that alone to mean there is a light at the end of the tunnel or the patient dog gets the fattest bone. Many ways to understand and interpret it. To join surulere imole I haven’t seen it before. Maybe if you are talking to someone named Imole. For how you mentioned it, it would be like saying patience is profitable light which in everyday conversation would not make sense but if it’s for your own personal reasons you are allowed to do whatever you please. Hope this helps 🙂
