Honestly, this series captures what I believe Oleg's personality is perfectly. Gigachad wielding greatswords like a straight swords and is acrobatic as hell in heavy ass armor, stun locking bosses, only to sigh in annoyance when the boss leaps to the other side of the arena and now has to run after them. What a gigachad.

I think I got to one or two field bosses before seeing a video of a mage kamehameha'ing something and said "Yeah I'mma go learn magic." While I ended up never really using Comet Azur in my own world, it helped so much in my friends.

Mohg is particularly susceptible to this attack because he doesn't move fast and once you get him to half health he stays in place for half a minute to gloat or something. Any boss that moves quickly won't be taken down by this spell. It's not cheese.

I've got similar experience with my first experience with Mogh. I have got kicked so many times by Mogh that I summoned 2 players and both were mage build. I was like "Mage builds? Guess that's preferred build for Mogh (I was strength build with Colossal sword-Beseark sword). Once we got in, they both just blasted him into nowhere with Comet spell right before I got to melee range. My jaw dropped like 2 cm after what saw.

Elden Ring is one of the few games where being open world feels appropriate. Typically storylines are like, “THE WORLD IS ENDING IF I DON’T FIX THINGS QUICKLY! But first I’m going to collect flowers and help people find their missing coffee mugs.” With Elden Ring it’s like, are you seriously kidding me? You think a tarnished can become a lord?! HAHAHA!!! Now, I’m going to chill in my creepy ghost castle while you slowly get more powerful. 0:02 Welcome to the Bossfight of the Moghwyn Palace. Mogh, Lord of Blood. As you can see he is now sharing a nice moment with... oh boy... Where do I even start? Okay... Let's recap a bit. Mogh is an Omen. Brother of Morgott and by that son of Marika and Godfrey. While his brother Morgott despite his "curse" still pledged loyalty to the Erd Tree and held onto his duty and tried his hardest to be a good king for long destroyed and abandoned Leyndell as the world became desolate wasteland Mogh was... different. You see he is far more infatuated with his curse and so he pledged himself to a God that further mutated him and affected his Omen status and turned him into what we see here. Formless Mother is said God. A God he literally stabs to attack you with it's blood. Now it is unclear whether or not Omen curse comes from Crucible or Formless Mother, but I myself believe it comes from Crucible and Formless Mother just affects it and much like Greater Will, Formless Mother desires the Crucible for it's power. Lands Between are basically a fighting ground between different Gods over it (from my interpretation). But other than that. Who's hand is he holding? This is Miquella. Brother of Malenia. A Demigod who as an Empyrean had potential to be replacement for Marika, but instead he was possessed by another God which cursed him with infinite childhood, making him an eternal shota (don't ask how I know that term) so if that bit of information send a bit of a chill down your spine and your neurons started to activate then that means you are paying attention. Yes. Mogh kidnapped his eternally young half brother (since Marika is Miquella's mother) and decided to create his own dynasty with him called Moghwyn... Mogh essentially forced Miquella to share his bedchamber and possibly bear his children... I'm not making that up. This is actual lore. One thing for sure... Mogh doesn't know much about biology. Or we not know much about Demigod biology. You are to decide which is worse. Also it may also be Mogh's own daddy issues as this piece of lore is quite similar to marriage of Godfrey and Marika. Maybe Mogh wanted to be like his dad in this sense. And he named his dynasty possibly as a reference to his deceased brother Godwyn... Sad. But that's not all for the amazing lore here. You see this kidnapping may have caused something else. You see. When Shattering was going on in full swing several demigods made an alliance and given that we see Radahn fight Morgott in the intro (and losing, good on you Morgott), us having confirmation of Radahn being in Leyndell as Godrick ran away from him from there and Malenia's soldier is in Shaded Castle and it's master was infatuated with her it is safe to assume that this alliance was between Radahn and Malenia and Godefroy (a reskin of Godrick you can fight in one evergaol). This alliance was apparently destroyed by "bloody conspiracy" and given what title Mogh bears you can possibly piece together what that means. Intentionally or unintentionally Mogh may have caused this alliance to break as he kidnapped Miquella and took him to his palace which just so happens to be DIRECTLY under Caelid and Malenia may have felt it and came to conclusion that Radahn kidnapped him, sparking a war between the two and Godefroy was left alone to storm Leyndell all the while Malenia and Radahn fought each other which resulted in Caelid getting nuked, Radahn rotten and Malenia... we will get to the bitch later. So yes... Mogh in his move to become a consort of a God caused quite a bit of pain and misery for many people. And Morgott most likely doesn't know as Mogh left somewhere in Leyndell his copy, much like Morgott can do. But we may get to it later (if my memory doesn't fail me and we were not already at that point). Right now as we see Mogh he basically drowned Miquella in blood and put him in this cocoon. Miquella in this state has clearly mutated and this may be continued in the DLC that we know now will involve Miquella (and may involve older brother of both Mogh and Morgott, Godwyn as well). We shall see. TL;DR Mogh is Discord Moderator of Elden Ring Now let's return to the video. 0:14 If your guess is that it's blood then you are most likely correct. 0:22 Voice acting on Mogh is VERY good. Just the right amount of creepy and disturbing. Still doesn't beat Morgott's voice acting (to me finest in Fromsoft history). And summon here is Knight Oleg. 0:28 This is your primary enemy in this fight. Bleed and fire. Mogh LOVES to spew that everywhere. 0:30 Keep rolling. You may get to hit him eventually. 0:44 This is a move Mogh uses once you damage him enough. He puts on 3 spells on you first while saying 1, 2 and 3 in Latin (don't ask me how he knows latin) and then uses this spell while screaming NOTHING in Latin. It gives you bleed 3 times while healing himself and going to 3rd phase. How can you protect yourself from it or stop it? Well... you can kill him before he does it if you are quick enough. Or to counter the bleed at least there is a special Tear for Mix Flask you can find by fighting an invader near Second Church of Marika in Altus Plateau. Use it when Mogh is about to do NIHIL thing. If you don't have that either then prepare healing potions. You NEED them. 0:52 Mogh also grows wings thanks to this. If it reminds you of wings that Crucible Knights sometimes grow then you are paying attention. 0:56 Also Latin numbers. 1:00 Honestly that's how it can feel like. Just being drowned in blood. But this bossfight is rather fair. One of the more fair ones in the game and enjoyable ones (besides Nihil thing which you really need a guide to protect yourself against). Trust me. You will miss fairness of this fight. Overall I'll say Golden Lineage (Marika and Godfrey's family) are to me the best family. They have the best and in many ways most tragic story, best boss fights and characters. Love them. And there is one more great one still to come. 1:24 A mage... Well... 1:30 What he just used now was Azure Comet. The Kamehameha of this game. And most likely he combined it with infinite mana Tear for the Mix flask. VERY powerful and it utilizes what I said before about killing Mogh before Nihil. Moral of the story? 1:37 Pretty much. Also balance is kind of shit in this game. At least miracles are better in it than... every other From game.

You got a few things wrong. First, Miquella is not possessed by anything, he was cursed at birth to be eternally young. Second, when Mohg kidnapped him he was already and still is slumbering. Third, Mogh did not put him in the cocoon, Miquella was already in a cocoon before he was kidnapped. Forth, Mohg’s blood had no effect on Miquella. He didn’t as you say mutate. The cocoon however was cracked open. Stoping Miquella’s transformation and obviously negatively affecting him as we see his body weak and shriveled.

That's what happens when a person thinks he knows everything, but in fact he doesn't know anything. Mikella is an eternal child not because of something external, it's just an innate curse, as well as an omen. Mogg wanted to be his wife. And Fi or Gideon were also offered to become Marika's spouses, will she marry them? Rubbish. On the contrary, Mikella gave Radagon three rings of light, and Radagon gave him one. After the Golden Order did not help Malenia, Mikella became disillusioned with him and left with his sister to grow his tree. Mogg then took him to his palace. He uses three blood rings and gave Michella one ring. He wants to become a new Radagon for him, a father, mentor, defender, representative. @@Andrei-Rex We do see in the intro that Mogh kidnapped Miquella while he still had a small, fragile body and the place where Miquella was taken out of (which looks like stomach of a woman) is torn open. Mogh took him from that. And description says that Mogh made Miquella share his "bed chamber" so unless he slept with that giant cocoon next to him then I don't see it. Also blood most likely mutated Miquella, much like blood of Formless Mother seems to affect Mogh and his body as again in the intro Miquella is still small while the hand of Miquella in here is REALLY huge, way beyond what it most likely is supposed to be even if Miquella would make himself adult. And I said possessed in a sense of Miqeulla being used by another God as their own Empyrean like what happens with Malenia and this affecting them like this.
