Mohinga - Classic Burmese Fish Soup

Ingredients
For the Fish Soup
Basa fillet (cut into strips) - 500 gms
Rice Flour- 2 Tbsp
Ginger- 3/4th inch
Garlic - 6 Cloves
Lemongrass Stalk - 2 Nos
Medium onion - 3 Nos
Groundnut oil - 5- 6 Tbsp
Paprika powder - 2 Tbsp
Chilli Powder - 2 Tsp
Turmeric Powder - 1 Tsp
Fish Sauce - 3 Tbsp
Shallots - 15 Nos
Black Pepper Powder -1/2 Tsp
Fish Stock - 1 Cup
Water - 1 Liter
Shrimp Paste - 1/2 Tsp (optional)
Served with
Rice Noodles
Lime Wedges
Garlic oil
Chilli Flakes
Hard Boiled Eggs
Split Pea /Channa dal crackers
Fried Onions
Coriander leaves
