That's not bass.....its "lead bass"! The bass is supposed to be the "bottom line" of the melody....that dance beat! So whoever this lovely gal plays with ....would need someone laying down the bottom bass line......so people can "feel" the dance beat!!! This is from an old Flower-Child or 73 years with lots of experience dancing!! Ha ha ha!

Male here..... Representing an opinion...... I wonder why this hyphenated definition of female bass player,... And it is common usage.,.... It's like saying special ed... When that is absolutely certainly and definitely the antithesis of what the heck is going on here..... I think a superlative is more appropriate as to the actuality of this (humans) performance.... Can females actually have the credence given to them... the credit given to them when they absolutely definitely Excel.?..... You have to be a musician to understand.... she has the entire instrument in her hands she can dance with every fret for a broad spectrum of sound production and does.. instead of just getting little things figured out in certain areas on the neck of the instrument basically... Playing little hooks... For cookies.... Instead she is Continually striving for excellence.. (learning) (more and more) if she's not now... absolutely the best bass player in the world .......humanoid.

I think you need to listen to Victor Wooten, Jaco, Marcus Miller, I'd even throw in Chris Squire, and them tell me she is the greatest Moni is a massive talent and I love listening to her play but I don't put her in the same class as those I mentioned.

Is the word 'female' really necessary? NO!!!!! Her male counterpart would not have a title saying "A terrific MALE Bass Player". It's sexist and unnecessary.
