Another great one Shankar, there are many who follow on this shameless cloners path in our markets , had seen some videos by others a while back, its called the "besharam nakalchi" technique in hindi..although I have never followed this technique..but really liked the other 2 categories of the Spawners and Uber cannibals as you referred them..

Thanks. Companies with a high probability of relatively clean books generally: 1. Have a cash generating and rather uncomplicated business 2. Have been in business for many years 3. Get a clean chit of health from auditors 4. Are tracked by many analysts tracking the stocks Ofcourse a few (maybe 1-2%) will fall through the cracks which is why having a portfolio is important. The confidence in Mr. Pabrai's Free Lunch Portfolio comes from the fact that most stocks are large caps, have been in business for long, sustainable businesses with strong FCF and are extensively tracked by the world's finest value investors

If you want that alpha, the Spawners are the key ingredients in your portfolio. Luck and fortune also play a role, it is not everything as per your calculations. However, there are many uber cannibals in India, and their stock price never moves up, for example, Wipro’s EPS has been going down from 2015 to 2018, and then range bound till 2021, and going down again till 2022.
