OMG!!!!! MOHO wins I love the new features, I can't wait to try it out. Love the freehand features I feel that was really lacking in 11. And these new mesh features, really bring it to the forefront of animation packages. Look out toon boom!

Can you do a tutorial on how to bend an image of a leg or an arm smoothly at the joint using smart mesh? I was figuring out how they did that with Clay Crocodile figure that came with Moho 12 and I can see how they placed mesh over the character's arm to bend at the joint. But when I tried to do the same with my own character, I got a very uneven, even jaggy, edge around the arm. Wanted to know how they did it. Thanks!

Amazing tutorial, I didn't understand a thing, when you said we can change the order of the triangles, how you did that?
@funksmaname5 жыл бұрын
Thanks! On the triangulated layer, you can select any triangle fill like any other fill on any layer and use the arrows to change its order in the stack. That should put it in front or behind other triangles.

for those that still watch this and have tried but it doesn't work, go to frame 1, if it's on 0 you will only be moving the mesh masking not the actual figure

Can you use smart mesh to scale an image like a vector? Does smart mesh retain the image quality if you scale it up?
@funksmaname8 жыл бұрын
Yes you can scale up - but there's no way ANY software can scale up without loss of quality, it's physics... or science... or something like that :) It will get fuzzy if you enlarge it too much - better to start with a larger image and scale down.

I have followed your method to mash a image but mash doesn't work . Whenever I move the mash point , only point moves not with the image as like you did. What can I do now ? And what's wrong with me? Please help me to figure out the problem and to solve it.( I use Moho 12.4)

It happens the same on mine, have you find why?
@speksteengames5 ай бұрын
I had the same problem and I googled and found the answer. Basically ypu need to go from frame 0 (left corner) to any other frame and it works.

You know what would be cool though if you had a way to bring up a widget with all the tools like what they do in maya and sketchbook! I mean it's awesome now but that would really help users be more proficient.

bit of a technical one for you. Can you export the mesh animation as an .FXB and import it into Unity?
@funksmaname8 жыл бұрын
that I don't know, sorry, if not I wonder if it could be scripted? better asking on lost marble forum
