The humidity makes a crazy difference!!! When we go to Scale Mountain the lines you could crawl one day becomes impossible the next!!!

I crawl on quartz and granite around my area. The best conditions are when the temperature is in the 50s with a touch of humidity. Dry and dusty in the summer, or pollen in the Springtime provides the least amount of traction.

Those sure are some soft tires. They really did a great job of climbing. 👍

Funny thing traction on certain conditions snow can do that depending on temp.

I think the humidity helps. Folks think I’m crazy when I purposely hit a little water when available in a comp. It works.

I gotta get a rockpile. I cant compete with 326% humidity, but we get pretty sticky here in SC too. lol. fun run

Are you going to make cheatcodes for the iron rock's? Some tires definitely do better in the wet/damp than others.

I've watched the code change traction when it's hot it seems like tires become really slick and just like fold over and don't do nothing and I'm talking about super hot rocks you know but like when it gets down to that 80s to preferably around 50 I've seen tires come alive matter of fact I turned back to Old Tire which is power hobby mudboss everybody loves the Power Ivy Trail Warrior back in the day now this is scx24 stuff but I turned back to that mud boss and let me tell you they performed excellent and they look really good

We have a line right next to a waterfall and if you don't get the tires wet at the bottom you cannot get up it. Get some predator compound tires damp and it'll walk to the top

So I've been playing with the whole Deluxe play with tires and that is shaving the sidewalls down get rid of all the luck some tires I feel like it really really helps but other tires that are already thin it's kind of hard to do that it just tears them up pretty much and I am talking about smaller scales stuff so maybe it don't work like that in the bigger stuff but also I thought about doing it to the tusks 1.063 mm because the test has a stiffer carcass and I'm wondering if you do that sidewall if it helps get it for pliability

Love the videos! What axel shafts can I use as a replacement for the meus axles? Thanks
@ExocagedRCКүн бұрын
I’m not sure if any others will interchange with these. Have you broken them?
@jacoblong9120Күн бұрын
I plan on buying a set of the meus Capra axles but multiple videos that I have watched they have broken the u joints. I just don’t want to be stuck without available replacement parts

Is the tires compound certain compounds do great in certain weather it's a known fact look at G8 and predator
@mikerainey38474 күн бұрын
I think the issue with traction is that there are so many factors, a lot of which vary. Temperature, humidity, tire wear, vehicle weight, inserts and contact patch. I notice as my tires run for a few minutes, they get more grip. It's kind of like what happens on your ramp....? Interested to see those brass beadlocks.

326% 😂 kinda like S. Texas huht. I've had tires twist like that before. It needs more e6000 or try e6800 bud. Let her cure.
