Pinyaps Avoid all encounters with them until you light the bonfire and rest. You’ll have to fight over 5 of these guys in the bonfire fight but with enough firebomb spam it’s easy enough. After you rest they’ll start wasting turns trying to protect themselves or trying to “put out the fire”.

basically, the horrific figures had a shitton of health and dealt a moderate amount of damage, not to mention their attacks would deal +Poison and +Scared, so add all of that together and you got yourself a 10 min fight that you come out of with a dead lanks and no sp

My guess is that their the children that used to live in the area. An NPC mentions that a lot of kids used to live in that area and went missing, and considering they guard those children’s drawings it seems like they’re probably the kids.

Obeycap like in Hiroshima and Nagasaki, where the concrete was burned so much that it became a lighter shade, and as a result, where people stood or were sitting, negative shadows (dark patches of concrete) were left behind. Does that mean if the white flash happened to a woman who was just sitting against a wall or something, there would be a shadow of her left behind?
