There’s literally only one good argument against masks, to be clear I’m not anti mask I wore mine didn’t bother me one bit. That being said technically it would help but not in the way you would think, the mask isn’t designed to filter your breath like a lot of people think it just redirects your breath behind you and stops any spit you may not notice leave your mouth. This doesn’t do much if not remembered, like the social distance seats notice that the man in front technically has his breath being redirected towards the two people behind him, there are intentional holes around the sides of the mask, the nose can be closed properly but it’s usually not airtight and you’ll have airflow going through your hair aswell, so when you’re talking to someone face to face this would help eliminate the exchange of germs but when you pair this with to much social distancing or social distancing without hearing this design flaw in mind then you’ll find many situations like my first example where the mask unintentionally directs breath towards the person we are trying to avoid breathing on. It hurts my soul that something like this needs to be explained, it’s just a mask you didn’t have to wear it you could’ve stayed home and not worn a mask like I did at home and simply put it on out of respect for others and the simple undeniable fact that despite my argument against masks that they are overall effective against the spread of germs from you to others or others to you, that small inconvenience shouldn’t bother you more then either A. The potential for getting sick. or B. The possibility of getting someone else sick who could in fact die as a result. Even if in some alternate universe masks were terrible at keeping germs from spreading why wouldn’t you wear them just because it eases the minds of people around you? Because anti maskers know deep down that their points are all bullshit reasons used in place of the real thing that’s bothering them which is feeling controlled and mad about being told to do something they dislike, even if it was just an option. And yes a business can and should kick you out for not wearing a mask it’s separate from the government it’s an establishment with its own rules, obviously you are held by the law there aswell, literally even children understand there are extra rules in public and that if you break the establishments rules the law will remove you and therefore if you don’t leave you’re then breaking the actual law. Tired of hearing this argument just put it to bed already

I did some research on the judge vs. public defender, the PD was actually trying to demand the defendant's fair trial, but judge didn't want to do it because the schedule was backed up and so they started the argument. I'm sorry, but everyone deserves a fair trial, so it's unfortunate that the judge didn't get the brakes beat off him. Luckily he lost his career, PD resigned unfortunately.

A citizens arrest exists in law to cover people who restrained someone from escaping from the scene of a crime, or from committing further crimes from being prosecuted for assault. For example, if you tackled and restrained someone fleeing the scene of an assault on the street until the police arrived, that would be covered as a citizens arrest and you wouldn't be liable for it like you would if you did that to an innocent person. Citizens arrest law does not give you the right of arrest with just carte-blanche to arrest people you don't agree with or don't like XD

The last thing someone robbing a house will go for if they're unsure of whether the homeowners are there or when they might come back is a TV. They're way too cumbersome to get disconnected and haul out of the house, especially in a hurry, without breaking them and rendering them unsellable. If I were robbing a house, I'd be looking for cash, jewellery, guns (if I were in the US, they're easily saleable on the black market for a decent amount), laptops, phones, tablets, unopened alcohol (if you know what you're looking for and you're robbing a super rich person, you could find some highly expensive stuff in their collection) and that's about it. Maybe car keys too if the car was outside of a garage, but trying to take off with it will cause a racket, and the police computers will flag it as stolen pretty quick, so it'll be hard to shift.
