Not at ALL surprised it takes him so long to beat Isshin. This game's final boss basically takes everything the game's been teaching you and dials it up to eleven. Charlie's been getting through the game but he's never really clicked with the combat, still dodging more often than deflecting and never reacting to perilous attacks correctly to build posture. Most end game enemies stop playing around and if you haven't gotten the combat down, you're gonna struggle.

@@Jklopoppcorn this has nothing to do with the video but "hard" could mean a whole load of things. dying 70 times in the first 30 seconds of the first phase because of impatience and then the second you get slightly more defensive you win means you clearly understood many parts of the fight you just didn't apply the one last key, and it might not have eluded you you could have just not cared about tryharding and giving it your all all the time. different strategies net different results and if you're not in the mood to play the game or play the game half-asleep and get a spike of success and almost never lose at a challenge again it still can mean you didn't find it hard difficulty is subjective, and people don't always give it their all on their first few attempts edit: I'm not trying to make it out to be a personality trait for beating these games, or that you should boast about 'not finding something hard' even though it took alot of mental effort and skill from mostly everyone who played, or whatever. I'm just saying hard is subjective, and there's a plethora of differences between people; what if every boss in the game took 100 attempts for a person and this one took 10? I'd say it would make sense to call this one relativley easy to them, don't you think?

I've heard people utilizing other tools for bosses like demon of hatred but I never used them lol and I still beat the game. I struggled the most fighting Owl Father on hirata estate more than any boss but then again that's because owl is using tools against me. which made it look like he's the one playing sekiro the right way and I'm the boss lol

At least from a lore point of view, resurrecting without the resurrective power to do so takes it away from the residents and acquaintances of Wolf. At least thats how I percieved it as when I played, however I still knew dying was the cause. Otherwise the dude played ignorant to the mechanics and story.

When you first kill Owl you say "Death of a shadow," then you go to hirata estate and kill him again.

I think it's because that in the story (not counting the however many times you as a player get killed) Sekiro dies only twice. When Owl murks him at Hirata after Lady Butterfly and when he draws the Mortal Blade for the first time. I guess he also dies in the suicide ending but that doesn't really count because there are 4 different endings
