Excellent....excellent... video. The use of real-world encounters, conditions, honesty, and vulnerability increases the value of this production...in my opinion. Well done👍🏽 and Thanks, again.

Thanks for the refresher… quick tip…ryobi sells a rechargeable screwdriver mini drill… works wonders for screws in small areas or even general use.

Thanks for this Great video. Very detailed. I came across all the issues you mentioned. The bracket didn't fit so I had to replace it with the new one. The holes on the top to secure the microwave did not align with the previous drilled holes so I had to place new ones. The most difficult part was measuring and getting the holes right where they needed to be. I missed the first time because I took exact measurements and did not take in consideration the space that the bracket was going to take when i place it behind. But i fixed that the second time so don't make the same mistake as i did.

Great video. Thx. Question: why did one microwave trip the breaker and the new one not? Same manufacturer? When microwaves start, they do have a power kick to them. So do electric ranges. I have a gas range, so hopefully that won't be an issue.

Common issue are the door interlock switches. Worst thing you can do is open door while microwave still running. Power arcs across switch contacts. Always pause or stop before opening door.

Skip the ryobi and pay the negligible difference for a Dewalt. I went through 3 sets of ryobi drill/drivers in less than 2 years, built like crap and don't last long enough to justify the price. Also, it's called a hole saw.

Good Job...!! Like that you used the S.W.A.G. system... I use it with great frequency. Surprised the Frigidaire didn't have templates for the hole placements. S.W.A.G. = Scientific Wild Ass Guess

This is my biggest complaint I have for appliance makers! Why do they make you drill more holes in particle board for the same brand microwave? Same manufacturer! Someone needs to beat the CEO of Frigidaire for not telling his designers "Hey why don't we !make it easy for installation and standardize these holes and brackets! I hate engineers! yes I get so you have to hire a professional installer, but it is just stupidity!
