To be clear, the event was still fun/enjoyable, but theres a lot that could be done to improve it:) Also the cape is "FREE" but you have to buy a ticket/attend the event to get the cape.

The fact that it wasn't actually Microsoft that's directly running this honestly surprised me, seems right in step with how they've been handling the game over the past 2-3 years. Dont get me wrong, the game is definitely still minecraft, but the last update wasnt even celebrated amongst my kids like previous ones, and even they (ages 8 & 10) said that minecraft live is getting disappointing and too much like a baby show for them to want to watch anymore. Kinda sad, really

The Sniffer, the Warden, the new Cranking all look like they where designed by an underaveragely skilled toddler quickly drawing some random shapes... IMO those designs might appeal to little children, but anyone above age 5 to 6... The warden is the least uggly of those 3...

@@Aphelia. Agreed. Back when it started in alpha, fully grown adults were getting hooked on it even before all the major features like redstone and mobs were added. Now it honestly kinda feels like being a creep to play if you're over 30 unless you're a youtuber, I can't imagine how it feels for those that don't have kids to use as an excuse..

It makes me a bit sad really, this has a lot of potential, the lack of love for the project really ended up hurting it. I really wish they fix some things, tho, being a complete third party with no real involvement from Mojang or Microsoft, unfortunately I don't see that happening. Depending on the price, I'll still go if it comes by me, but sure saddens me a bit.

You can have it indeed, you just need to find someone else for you to go there, and people actually searching for someone about it on X and Reddit etc. but many of those who say they will go there, are demanding a fee (20$ or 30$ ive even seen that 150$ on Ebay, probably a scam), while some of them is just help you without a fee, and just want your ticket to scan it, if you lucky enough to find someone else that you can trust, you have a high chance to get it, but the most important thing is that scamming is quite widespread, so be careful about scammers since they are fed by your hopes.

the last like 7 capes have all been free to everyone. it used to be that all capes were gated to visiting minecon (which costs money) :)

It will be for Java Edition, as stated in the Minecraft Experience Terms: "By June 5, 2025, players who have redeemed a code for the Minecraft Experience Cape in Bedrock will be granted a cape in their Minecraft Java account."

In the Minecraft Experience terms of service it says that if you redeem the experience cape code youll get it on bedrock right away but youll hve to wait till June 5th 2025 for it to be added to your Java account :)
