The attention span point feels incredibly out of place honestly. It's background music in a video game that just fades in and out every now and again. That's all it needs to be. 'Attention span' is not why C418 hasn't been brought back. Lena just has her own composing style.

I think the new music discs are amazing but i despise the in game background music nowadays. The old classic tunes are great but the new stuff is just reall7 loud and distracting/irritating

This video is kinda dumb imo. (and made me kinda mad) BTW. The reason why C418 hasn't made more music after 1.13 is because of him wanting to keep ownership of the music (because Microsoft wanted the rights). I feel if you are making a video on C418 after he left Mojang you should research on why C418 left Mojang Also what on you on about on Mojang not caring about new music??? All recent major updates gave tons of new tracks to listen too, and 1.21 had 3 new music discs. Also "ruin the original vision" that's a wild take, where is the evidence on that? ANOTHER THING, ATTENTION SPANS? How does attention spans relate to his music, what because his music is long and soft in the game? The music is supposed to be on while you are playing the game. It's not supposed to take your attention off the game, it's supposed to add wonder and immersion in the game you're playing. The comparison of a tiktok slide doesn't match, that's an actual video wanting you to look at it, music doesn't require that. How on earth does this relate to Mojang not caring about Minecraft Music. The more you think about the evidence the more it doesn't support the topic. The reason the music is different is because of the composers being different, that's all. I know I am rambling a lot on this comment but this video makes zero sense.

Look i hate to be the bearer of bad news but there is literally 0 chance of C418 coming back He stopped working on the game not because Mojang moved on but because HE moved on - Microsoft (not Mojang!) were abusing their power and trying to take all the rights to C418's music once they took over the game. Apparently the legal process was traumatising for him, and that he doesn't want anything to do with the company anymore. HOWEVER... there is an entire 3rd volume that exists. It just hasn't been released yet. The reasons for why are super muddy, but I assume he just legally cant do anything which sucks. Having an entire fully fledged album that you can't release would be so awful... But hey, he isn't dead or anything. You should give his other works a listen, like Excursions, One, 148, Dief, and so much more. He isn't JUST the minecraft guy and I think you'll find some tracks that are just as good (usually better...) than the minecraft ones :)
