Sorry for the wind. I hope you’re having a great day!👍✌️

That little Mojave is an awesome truck. One of my friends just got one and its night and day better then the slash mini. I have a slash mini and needed to do some suspension work to make it almost as stable as the Mojave Grom.

@@RobertNES816 Thanks for watching! I love my Mojave grom,it handles great,but I have had a number of parts break. All the replacement parts are fairly cheap though.
@K5_RCАй бұрын
I agree. My Mojave Grom out handles my friend's mini Slash easily. And its a much better designed vehicle. Much easier to work on
@K5_RCАй бұрын
@Bonitacreekrcs diffs and driveshafts break alot. But the Groms are probably the easiest RCs ever to work on. Nothing needs more than 8 or 10 screws for any broken part. And the parts are dirt cheap.
@BonitacreekrcsАй бұрын
@@K5_RC yeah, you can see the age in the design of the mini slash. It was released in 2011! So I guess it’s pretty good for a 13 year old platform. Much has changed since then.
@BonitacreekrcsАй бұрын
@@K5_RC the Mojave grom is pretty easy to work on, and stuff only broke when I was doing dumb stuff with it, I stripped out a front cvd doing dounuts at full lock for a few minutes straight,and all the other damage was done at the skate park. Thanks for watching!👍✌️

Id like to see the mini slash at the skate park possibly find a rc track near you guys and race them
@Bonitacreekrcs2 ай бұрын
Ok,I’ll try and find a race track but there isn’t of a much RC community. I did make several shorts with the mini slash at the skatepark,but I’ll put a video together. Thanks for watching!

I'm surprised your 1/16 slash doesn't just flip when turning. That's all mine does. How did you set yours up so it doesn't flip so easily? Thanks for the comparison.

Well it’s my friend’s truck,not mine,so I don’t know what all they did, but the suspension is lowered quite a bit. The shocks have a threaded body with the spring collars that can be adjusted. I think just lower it and play around with ride height to see what you like.

I found a clip where you can see the shocks

Honestly I like the slash look more but that’s mainly because I don’t like how the Mojave looks especially from the front and the colors are more “toy” like. But I bet the grom handles better and is easier to work on
@BonitacreekrcsАй бұрын
@@InaMopar Yeah,the Mojave handles much better(and much better tires) It’s been pretty easy to work on. I’ve really enjoyed mine. Bashing at the skatepark has caused several breakages though. Thanks for watching👍

I completely respect your opinion but I would say hold one in your hands you will be surprised at how good the paint is, the details and the realism that little Arrma has. Just got one myself and cant say enough of it, its awesome and speed is right on.

If you want to get one,I’d suggest getting the 3s blx Mojave since it has all metal gears and metal driveshafts, and aluminum body shocks. It has like $160 in upgrades for $50 more. (And the brushless motor won’t die from dirt inhalation)

what do u say is more durable at the skatepark for a 5 year old lol
@Bonitacreekrcs6 күн бұрын
@@sanjayshaun8450 I’d have to say Mojave. It handles better,much better radio,better tires,the suspension in the slash doesn’t work well,the shocks all lost oil. One of the shocks on my Mojave lost oil. I have broken several parts on my Mojave. But the slash has burned up an esc and it runs on nimh batteries. I’d say the Mojave is better. But I think the granite grom would be better for kid. You will have to replace the diffs but parts for it are really cheap. Thanks for watching👍

@@Bonitacreekrcs what about a 1/10 slash 2wd vs that
@Bonitacreekrcs3 күн бұрын
@@sanjayshaun8450 I don’t know about a 1/10 scale slash but I have a Arrma fury and it handles real well and it’s top speed is around 20mph and I don’t think your kid will be able to break it. The 1/16 slash in the video has cantilever suspension and it just isn’t a good design.
