i thought the speaker was on the bottom of the door where the circle dish was? or is that another one?

The top is the speaker. The bottom circle is a ~60w, 1.2ohm “subwoofer”. It will thump for such a little sub but I’m about to unplug mine because the door has a lot of plastic and almost no sound dampening. Just rattles pretty good on hip hop, but adds some character to rock and country

@@robertswift6101 it is, but it is rare to find 1.2ohm subwoofers. Shelby makes direct replacements that are pretty good, and kicker has some 2ohms that are a big quieter but still sound good. If you want new amps for bigger and more powerful subs then you can do that, just make sure to dampen the rattles that this will inevitably produce. Also be prepared for the subs dropping off after 40Hz, or not hitting the “low lows” Tbh most people just keep these stock and if they want bigger bass, wire in a 3rd subwoofer either in the trunk or under the seat

Did it make it louder? The shaker system is a 2ohm system as far as I know and a 4ohm speaker wouldn’t be utilized properly (so I was told by the local stereo shop) let me know if it improved the sound system please I’ve wanted to do this for a while

HUGE improvement but we also had one of them blown but the clarity and volume are big improvements.

Most speaker shops honestly have told me wrong things... The shaker system is literally basic stuff that's Amped.

I have a 07 mustang GT it came with the shaker sound system I installed a aftermarket double din all speakers work except the subs

Min work you have to pul the to blue wire together and connect them to the power wire and it should work
