@@Ahmed-vw3iw I have installed a backrest along with pannier and saddle mounts; so, yes you can install a backrest. Yes, a cushion seat can be installed. However, I use a ride-on-air seat for my pillion. The latest variant of the Mojo is good for city use since the handling has improved hugely due to a lower rake angle.

To be precise you can tour until you get tired on this bike.. The bike will not heat up even doing 1000kms and incase it gets heated the bike will not stop but will restrict the rpm to 5000rpm.. Engine get more smooth and more refine as you keep riding. The bike is an amazing highway tourer. The bike won't wobble and can handle cross winds beautifully. You can do 120-130kmph all day while touring. You will have fun after 7000rpm

Friends, Go for a bike 🏍️ that has been around for a while and has good sales figure. However good a bike is, it's a risk buying it, if it's sales figure is low. Low sales will result in limited service network, non-availability of spares (you may have trouble getting spares if the production stops and at smaller towns) and resale value. Compare the cons of the shortlisted bikes rather than the pros.

The bike is very good. Did a test drive from NAFS Mojo Banglore. Absolutely a beast in cities. Awesome sound. Excellent gear shifts. Best ergonomics for long drive, cities. For those Who have shoulder or back pain. Consider below points. Suspension is not so stiff or soft , excellent for city condition. Build quality is very good. Seat is wide and lengthy. Very comfortable seat for both rider and pillion. If anyone looks to by a bike with ergonomics as high priority then this is for you. Looks could be skeptical. I like it very much. Tow color options black and blue. Cons: Clutch is not so soft compared to Yamaha bikes. Head light could be LED. Price could be more aggressive (Less). 2.40L onroad Banglore.

I have been watching ur vlogs since quite a few days. I like ur way of no nonsense, straight fwd feedback of motorcycles u ride. Mojo has always been my fav, I have been riding RE TB350 since 5yrs now. My budget is around 2.5 to 3lac max. My style of ride is relaxed one i.e. around 80-90kmpl max @6-7Krpm. My concern with Mojo is its post purchase servicings. Do u think if this 2019 abs version also doesn't go well, and company discontinues this, there will b problem for servicing & spare part availability? Can it b serviced outside showroom just like REs? I've a transferable job, at a small town now. Respose will be appreciated. Thanks

What is your take on long term use & quality niggles many owners of the Mojo have complained about. Do you feel that this bike can hold itself together without too many issues for around 50000 km on Indian roads with rough usage??

Hi Patrick, people have done more than a lakh kilometers without issues. I personally have done 43000 km in the last 3 years. Never has the bike stalled for once. Apart from small niggles, there has been nothing. And yes, a friend of myself was the cause of a major problem in my bike. He had cranked the bike thrice in succession while there was no petrol in the tank at all. That had caused the fuel pump to start giving trouble (any bike would have faced a similar issue if it had been handled that way), but even then the bike did around 10000 km with a damaged fuel pump. This bike is a gem. You can trust it as much as you can a Honda CBR250R. Just FYI, I have done a maximum of 875 km with pillion and tank bag and saddle bags in 16 hours (breaks inclusive) on this bike, and I was in a condition to do another 500 km the next day again after just 5 hours of sleep. That is how comfortable this bike is. Service costs, service intervals, and spares' costs are also very reasonable.

Spare parts availability and weak service networks are the main problems. Engine refinement and build quality is top-notch when comparing it with the other bikes in it's segment. I've never seen a mojo owner complaining about build quality issues and engine failures.

@@ananthusiva882 People have not bought the bike in numbers high enough for Mahindra to get that level of confidence to build a strong service network. And Mahindra itself is to blame for this. They never marketed the product well enough like Bajaj did for the Dominar. If Mahindra had paid a little more attention towards the sales of this bike, it would definitely have been in a better position by now, and we would have had a stronger service network today!

I have completed 10 months and 5200 km on my RTR 200 4V Race Edition 2.0 with ABS. 4 free services done. This is my short ownership experience. Very happy with the machine so far. What is Good? : 1. Dual channel ABS 2. Slipper clutch 3. Fully digital instrument console loaded with features 4. Very refined engine (no vibs at all) 5. D.C. electric system 6. Returns 40 to 45 kmpl when ridden sanely. Got 30 kmpl when ridden above 100. 7. Comfortable seat. 8. Mirrors offer very good visibility 9. 60W headlights offer good illumination at night 10. Loud horn as it has a dual horn setup What is not so good? : 1. Lower power (but you can easily do 120 kmph) 2. Lack of 6th gear (again, you won't miss it unless you need to go beyond 120 kmph) 3. Oil cooling instead of liquid cooling (but it never heats up even in slow moving traffic) 4. FI and ABS are not available together. 5. Top end is missing but low and mid range response is excellent. 6. Though headlights are good, LEDs would have been better Overall it's a great bike for daily commuting and touring. I have done a few tours on the bike, 100 kmph is so easy on this bike.
