Slovenia is absolutely gorgeous. I managed to go this year (before covid was widespread). Ljubljana, Bled and Piran are stunning!

Naousa, Paros, Greece is amazing. My favorite Greek island out of Santorini, Crete, Mykonos. Way less crowded as well

I spent two weeks in Slovenia in 2018 and I highly recommend visiting it! It's a gorgeous country and it's very small, so you can visit a lot in little time

Paros is one of the most crowded islands of Greece.Also is one of the main destinations for people 18-24

In Croatia I would recommend (much more than Rijeka) places like Poreč, Rovinj, Pula, Opatija - similar location and influence, but less "harboury". Also the islands (and cities) Krk, Cres, Lošinj, Rab, Pag. If you really think Dalmatia is too crowded.
