Watching this work is awesome. I cant tell you how much i appreciate the attention to detail and that knack for striving to achieve absolute perfection. There are so many places were you could have saved time and not done because no one would see it but you, like the little line you scrape off in even the tiniest places. These are the type of people I love working with and paying for services, whether they are a mechanic, fabricator, painter, carpenter, or even landscaper, whatever the profession, that attitude to never cut corners and do absolute amazing quality work is a special gift that is not seen enough and very much appreciated

I'm almost 50 and some of my dad's friends were into competitive model building. He had a 427 Cobra that he won first place with probably in the 80s. It was very impressive and the detail was awesome. But this is beyond words. Just beautiful artwork. Thank you for sharing. Being able to watch a master in action is jaw dropping. It's like watching those guys who make samurai swords.

I'm simply almost beyond words. His hands are as steady as a cnc robot, his patience that of biblical Job, his eye for his work like Michaelangelo. The amount of detail work he put in, for details most ocd people would miss even if they knew what they were looking for, is astounding. Hats off to, and bow to, a master. 🥋👍👍👍

I have not seen anyone paint quite as beautifully as you do. Very inspirational and insanely aspirational comes to mind. Like all others who watched, we can not wait to see what you do to the interior. It'd be great if Tamiya made a standard street version that you could use the interior for with this body to make one heck of a street racing machine.

As someone who is around race cars and motorsport, as well as miniature- and model-building, this is absolutely astonishing to watch. The amount of care and attention to fine detail is just wonderful. When you first started adding to the underbody panel I was a bit confused, but as soon as I realized you were adding *chassis seam-welding* details... I'll admit it, my jaw dropped. From that point forward I was absolutely entranced by this. You've got a new subscriber, that much is for absolute certain. I can't wait to see the rest of this model come together! I've been building and doing models since the sixties . I to take a part or an area and just work on it and work on it and spend hours sometimes days and I ask myself why am I doing this , and then I see this , this video of an artist a craftsman giving every area or part attention and the results tell you why we , as modelers go through it . But this is on an entirely whole other level this build isn't even halfway done yet and be taken to a model contest and probably win . It's , WOW ! , awesome. The chassis was unbelievable when you started to do the taping of the chassis for the putty I was thinking "what the heck is he doing" but the end results are unbelievable I and I'm sure lots of modelers would appreciate it , if you could you please , please put a separate video of just the entire chassis work unedited so we can see all the work that you to just the chassis , the factory access holes , the reinforcements spot welds , etc . Thanks for doing this this is totally inspiring it makes me want to just go out and crafts models all day I can't wait to see the finished piece.

Wow! I admire your hard work, attention to detail, precision, skilled hands, artistic creativity, and the patience you have in your enjoyment of this hobby. You are a true Master, Sir! I loved building these as a kid and I would sometimes blow them up on The 4th of July if they came out, not so well. It was fun still. To see someone of this level is truly amazing. Thank you for sharing you skills. Thank you for reminding me that there’s still that little kid inside that always enjoyed this. Even if I am only watching your channel and thinking to myself, Wow…that is so COOL!! I can’t imagine what your collection looks like. I have a 2008 Hyundai Tiburon GS that I bought brand new in 2009. A real car that is. I have always wished for someone to make a Model Kit like a Tamiya for my Vehicle. I know it doesn’t seem like an extravagant vehicle, but to this day. I still own it, I still drive it, I have worked on it, it has been a TANK in all winter snow conditions. It has always started for me. It has kept me safe and alive for many years. Someday I know it will be time to say goodbye, but if I could rebuild it I would. If I could have a Tamiya of it, I’d buy 10 kits and keep them! Lol. It has been a great car and I kindly thank my Korean Friends at Hyundai for making a superb vehicle! If they ever make a kit, please build one on your channel. I have the Silver one! I call it, Sharky! Thanks for reading and keep enjoying your hobby. Amazing work! Best wishes to you. Arigatou!

Based on these materials, I judge how far it can be reproduced and then start production.

I couldn’t hit the subscribe button fast enough. This is, hands down, the most jaw-dropping, accurately built/painted model I have ever seen, and the editing is top-notch. Your painstaking prep work, colour selection, paint mixing and finishing set you head and shoulders above anything else I’ve seen on KZbin, and I subscribe to a ridiculous number of channels. Yet you still seem to find the time to acknowledge and reply to virtually every comment that gets posted. With that in mind I have a question: it looked to me like you made foil adhesive from cashew nut shell liquid - is that correct? If so, is it because it will not hold brush marks? I’ve been struggling with finding an adhesive that will work with very thin foil but can be applied by brush and will self-level in a very thin layer, but that is reasonably easy to use and has acceptable tack and dry times.
@mokeipaint
@mokeipaint Жыл бұрын
Thank you. I am glad you are pleased with my work. To apply the aluminum foil, dilute Urushi 10 times with a special diluent. Then, apply the lacquer with a brush to the place where the aluminum foil is to be applied and leave it for a few minutes. When the lacquer becomes sticky, the aluminum foil is applied. For thin 24k gold, silver, or platinum foil, such as 0.0001mm (1/10000mm) thick, apply lacquer to the area to be covered with the foil and leave it for a few minutes, then wipe off the lacquer with a special dust-free tissue paper before applying the gold, silver, or platinum foil. In this case, if the lacquer is completely wiped off, the lacquer will be glossy; if a little is wiped off, the lacquer will be semiglossy; and if almost no lacquer is wiped off, the lacquer will be matte. The finished gloss can be adjusted according to how much lacquer is wiped away. This technique has been handed down in Japan since ancient times. It is still used today in traditional Japanese crafts, and all of the gold leaf applied to the ornate decorations of Japanese castles and shrines built more than 400 years ago was created using this technique. The chrysanthemum crest on the bow of the battleship Yamato and the battleship Musashi were also gilded using this technique. Today, many people in Japan use the same technique to apply gold leaf to the chrysanthemum crest when building plastic models of the Battleship Yamato and the Battleship Musashi.

@@mokeipaint Thank you again, it would be disastrous to dissolve a model after putting so many hours of work into it. 🫣 I’ve been thinking about your builds and considering how much time you must apply just to plan everything out. I’m guessing there must be several days, if not weeks, spent on researching colours, determining which parts need correction and how that should be done, planning how to best mix and apply each colour and in which order, deciding which type of paint to use, how to light and frame each shot, etc., etc... All this before removing the first part from the sprue! The more I think about all that, the more I appreciate how much time and effort you put into what we see, and it becomes easy to understand why each episode takes so long to produce. The result, while no doubt exhausting for you, is a master class in model making for your viewers. I’m sorry to go on at such length, I am struggling to put into words how awed I am by your skill and creativity and I (selfishly, perhaps) hope to help inspire you to continue producing such amazing content.
