Mokoomba - Masangango (Zimbabwe)

Mokoomba hails from the Victoria Falls region of Zimbabwe, popular for its natural beauty, the Victoria Falls. The region is home to the Tonga people who are one of the country's minority groups. Most speak Tonga, which is not understood by the majority of the Ndebele and Shona speaking population. Their music is an electrifying mix of Afro-fusion energy and traditional Tonga beats.

I just saw this band life in Brooklyn, NY and lets just say that they are everything you want to see and feel in a band. They took you on a musical journey that spoke to your soul and had you on your feet with your heart smiling. May their light keep shinning and spreading around the world. That's Tonga, mainly spoken in Matebeleland North, a province in Zimbabwe.. The exact areas are Hwange, Binga and Victoria Falls to name just a few... You also get people speaking the same language in Zambia
