For context of this song: it has zero context. The series, Symphogear, is primarily a Gurren Lagann/Kill la Kill-esque over-the-top action show about magical girls who need to sing to use their magical power armor, but then in one episode it just smash cuts from a dramatic scene to a scene of the three comic relief characters trying to teach the main character and her totally-not-girlfriend how to make beef stroganoff. This is also the same season where the main character punches a mountain in half while surfing a space shuttle, and the main villain wants to blow up the earth as revenge for witch trials.

there IS one piece of context: you know it from anime and manga... because one of the comic relief characters involved compares everything to anime/manga! none of the rest has context

Considering that the anime has a "mild" subtext about the univrsality of song and how much meaning ca be given in its simplicity, this version is basiclly canon.

And here, I'm completely lost. I don't know anyone who's into _either_ Toki Pona, _or_ Symphogear. Mu! "moo!" nya! I've definitely mentioned this in another of these toki pona song translation videos but the word mu is so great. In a hypothetical more serious version of toki pona this line wouldn't be possible to translate this directly, but luckily for us toki pona has a dedicated word just for animal sounds. For anyone who doesn't want to waste a bunch of time to read ye old one frame content.
