Other options could be "Tesserectimal," "Tesserectary," or "Biquadral"

If you draw another polygon inside it that touches only every second corner. This forms a triangle, with 3 sides, effectively halving the amount of sides. hangman isn't an adversarial game in the first place. the point of hangman is an excuse to do the "guess what i'm thinking of" bit with somewhat standardized hints. it wouldn't be fun to play against a robot because you're able to optimize the fun out of it, as described. it's a game in the way that 21 questions is a game. it's best described as a bonding activity which is sort of fun. the executioner wins by sharing their thoughts and feelings nonverbally. that is to say, having the other person think about them is the point.
