Went with a Vanford reel. They make you pay up, but worth it.

Bought a track mount paddle holder recently, so far so good getting the paddle out of the way while fighting a fish. I’ll have to hit the Molalla for small mouth too. Next week. Thanks for the video 🎣👍🏻

Also a track cup is nice. Not for drinks. Quick drop used lures, plastic etc. into it. Also store pliers and clippers.

Thank you. That was a channel cat. That was an average size for that part of the river. They get a little bigger than that.
