Where is the 0.01 L of NaCl coming from. I thought it was 0.5

If you're speaking of the example towards the end of the video, we were creating a 0.5 Molar solution, which means 0.5 moles of NaCl in 1 Liter of total solution. That solution's volume comes from both the volume of the water and the volume of the solute NaCl itself. If you listen carefully, I was creating a hypothetical situation for the 0.01 L of NaCl. I said, "This is not coming off of a table. I want you to pretend that these numbers are correct. Let's say that the volume of the NaCl is equal to 0.01 Liters." Think of this problem as more of an introduction to molality. No exact numbers were used to get that volume of NaCl.
