How do those leaf springs look now? Did you sand them before painting?

Use phosphoric acid 40% solution. Very cheap and effective. Used it on my Discovery 1 (see the video on my channel). Mind you the molasses seem to be quite effective too.

Molasis, is that edible molasis?

Matt Ryan yep well this particular one is used to sweeten up horse or stock feed. It’s an active ingredient that’s in the mixture that attacks iron oxide. I’m sure someone might point it out
