Good stuff, Eric! A recommendation for filling your seeder: I had the same issue with not being able to lift the bag high enough. I took a plastic pallet and cut out a square in the center, big enough to access the tie on the bottom of the bag. Then I put the bag on top of the pallet, and then lifted the pallet with the forks. That should buy you several more feet, and you won't need to cut the bag, so you can use it again in the future. Take care!

They don’t get that kind of traction I believe- great idea plus adding a third isn’t as easy as it seems. They have to pass each other in that case because the two would work in synchronous fashion and to keep that track clear would screw up the rotation. I was a facility manager for a huge warehouse 450,000 sq ft. Part was automated and it was a nightmare to make them avoid the manned forklift trucks. I’m sure that for enough money anything is possible in robots. 🤖

I love the improvements!❤ I’ve seen the LeLy robot on “Iowa Dairy Farm (er?)” They also use robot milkers & feeders but he’s much larger Funny how you’re dry but Montana is drowning this season (Larson Farms). You do things right for the right reasons man stay dry & safe.

I would think that they have a little experience with dealing with snow, so cleaning the robot pathways would be second only to getting the milk truck in and out in a snow event. Maybe even first, depending on when the snow falls.

My dad use to get liquid molasses back in the late 60's early 70's for our cattle, but can't get it around here now. I like the looks of the New Holland combine. We actually had a wheel come off our JD baler, had to get a new rim, ripped out the lugs, not fun when you have hay down. Thanks for the video, I hope you have a nice evening!

Question: why cut those bulk bags for seed, they have a tie rope on the bottom. Those bags can be reused and you’re paying for the bag instead of swapping the cost of the bag????
@burtzorn40593 ай бұрын
Maybe a small pop place might refill them. Most everyone says throw them away weather the seed is treated or not.
@gavinperry72373 ай бұрын
They have to cut the side of the bulk bags because forklift doesn’t have the height clearance to lift bag high enough to empty from the bottom

Will these robot feeders manage the harsh winters?
@MellowYe77ow2 ай бұрын
Their winters aren't really that harsh. They generally get light amounts of snow. They will treat the lanes for ice and clear any heavy snow if needed. The robots can push through light amounts of snow themselves.
