Answers: Q1. Molecular Formula of Ammonium Carbonate => (NH₄)₂CO₃ N₂ → 14 × 2 = 28 2H₄ → 1 × 2 × 4 = 8 C → 12 O₃ → 16 × 3 = 48 ---> 28 + 8 + 12 + 48 = 96 Therefore, Molar Mass of Ammonium Carbonate is equal to 96 units and it's expressed as 96g/mol __________________________________________________________________________________________ Q2. Molecular Nitrogen consists of 2 Nitrogen Atoms and is denoted as N₂ Molecular Mass → 28 Molar mass of nitrogen gas → 28g/mol We know, that per mole of nitrogen gas, there are 28 grams of it. So, let the number of moles be x 28x = 140 x = 140/28 = 5 Thus, there are 5 moles in 140g of Nitrogen Gas STP is Standard Temperature and Pressure. According to IUPAC Definition, (Which is usually used by chemists) STP is 273.15K and 10⁵ Pa. Volume of any gas at STP is 22.4L ( Standard Molar Volume ) Thus, Nitrogen's volume at STP is 22.4L __________________________________________________________________________________________ Q3. The molecular weight of water is 18 g/mol. Hence, one mole of water weighs 18 g. One mole of water contains 6.023×10^23 (Avogadro's Constant) water molecules. Mass of one water molecule = 18/(6.023×10^23) 2.988 × 10^-23 g Since this is in C.G.S. unit, we need to convert it into S.I. unit S.I. unit of mass is Kg 2.988 × 10^-23 g ==> 2.988 × 10^-26 kg [ SINCE 1 x 10^0 g = 1 x 10^-3 kg ] 2.988 × 10^-26 kg ==> Answer. __________________________________________________________________________________________

I have always had a doubt in mole concept. I have watched tons of videos to clear my problems but none of them helped until I came across this video. Thank you so much for clearing my doubts. When I first came across this topic , my mind was deluded in confusion. Most of the teachers offline or online blindly just state the avagadro's number and tell us to remember it. But this is the first time I came across someone who practically showed us how and why it is the way it is. On behalf of all students, we are really thankful for the all the contents you come up with.
