@@ArinPost I think bc when you boil sugar in water, it turns into a syrup like texture, so once it’s cooled down from that extreme heat, it hardens like a shell and sticks and grips whatever it has made contact with….so poured onto skin, not only is your skinned burned, but once the mixture has hardened, you’d have to peel it off, thus causing even more pain, possibly ripping off skin….🤷🏻♀️
@NotInAsia7 ай бұрын
@@TheSorabear it's not that - but you're on the right track, it's because it forms a napalm like substance.... have you ever made treacle? Basically it will burn through your skin and you cannot get it off, forget about it hardening, it causes a lot more immediate damage and deeper burns and is extremely difficult to remove compared to water alone. It's a very common weapon in prison, as it's easy to assemble and will scar the victim.

@zxy78267 Жыл бұрын
Exactly! It's not nearly as likely that a stranger will do this, although it definitely happens. It's the people you trust who have the easiest access that are the danger. I told my kids when they were really little that if anyone touched them in certain places or ways that they needed to tell me no matter what. I’ve learned from a friend who works in corrections: Pedophiles are often the nicest people to your face. They will try to put your guard down by being consistently nice and will offer to help. They will offer to babysit, help you around the house etc. The do tend to profile people who are strapped for money, have some sort of problems, because they will be more desperate for help and less willing to want to notice that something is wrong. Nobody that is actually nice will keep asking to be your friend, to help you out, pay for your stuff, or want to be with your children. That in itself should raise a huge red flag for anyone and say no to pope like that. But when a family member does that, that’s just pure evil and I feel so sorry for those kids. My motto: I’d rather offend a nice person than let a creep get away with stuff. Strong and visible boundaries, even at a cost of appearing to be rude.
