I'll definitely read her books! I love that attention to detail. So many historical fiction writing "experts" on yt say we shouldn't bother about historical accuracy because no one will notice, but it drives me crazy when I'm reading and notice inaccuracies. I'm working on a novel that's set in the 1850's and based on a Wilkie Collins character, so I have to be historically accurate AND canonically accurate, otherwise what's the point?

@@waypay1 you are absolutely right. I’m the same. Working on mid 19c Irish book and the historian in me will allow me to refer to the period accurately. Good luck with your project 🤞☘️
