Oh Umbero D. I watched it in film class and after the film was done the prof turns on the lights and a bunch of too cool 20 year olds are quickly trying to mop up their faces. So beautiful but so tragic that film.

Molly!!! I love Molly for sentimental reasons of my teen-age-hood. but also because she is an interesting, intelligent, strong, fun and talented woman. some years ago they ran an article in playbill magazine asking actors to list the best broadway shows they had ever seen-and Molly's list was wonderful. it was so eclectic. it was so smart. and her comments on each show were so specific and spot on. she's an icon. and one of her favorite films is IL NOTTI DI CABIRIA-AND Fellini kissed her on the head?? come on! come on!????

I'm sitting here, turning on "Molly Ringwald’s Closet Picks" and I'm wondering if "A Face in the Crowd" is a Criterion selection and BAM. Molly selects the film as her second pick. I’ll always remember Molly from the first movie I ever saw her in, which was Tempest. My dad is Greek and most of the filming was in Greece. I’m only a couple years younger than her, but I can’t imagine the pressure of your first film being a John Cassavetes film, being surrounded by heavyweight talents. From the way she talks about it, it sounds like it was a good experience.

They didn't have the rights for either at the time it was put together. The great disappointment of that set is the alternative original version of Shadows that Ray Carney unearthed prior to the set being put together not being included.
