POLEWORK EXERCISES | 8 fun polework exercises!

Hope you enjoy this video whilst not being able to do much! Ignore the awkwardness and me saying “my” all the time and me being a general idiot. Obviously all striding will vary depending on horse - this is just what I do!!! Brilliant to see someone who actually does proper pole work. I am mid 60s now but competed at foxhunter 100 years ago! I always used to do pole work and grids rather than just hurling us over jumps. It was invaluable. I also used a traffic cone to ride round at various paces spiralling in and out as tight as you could get and then large. It helps with leg yield and bend for those tight SJ courses :)

Don’t have a lot of poles at my farm since we mainly do barrel racing but thanks for the help!
