This is incredible. The emotional weight of the final fight (and its aftermath) was great, but it was from the view of the Nein. I had never really stopped to consider Mollymauks view on the matter. I think especially cause he was always light hearted (kind of but you get my point) and we never got to see him in a position of grief, so the tragedy felt more obviously linked to the remaining members of the Nein. To me, this song shines a new light in that moment, making it all the more special and tragic. They got knocked out a lot of times in that fight, and still kept trying to reach Molly. Envisioning him watching all this and not being able to properly react, locked away in a prison of a flesh no longer his own, is truly heartbreaking.

Been a while since this came out, but just want to call attention to the odd instrumental outro at the end of the song. The cosmic sounds, the dreadful melody, the narration of "M.T."... Chase perfectly captured through sound design the human horror of Cognouza and the Somnovum. An incredible blend of Mollymauk's circus background with a clockwork spin, as well as the ominous and ancient deterioration of the Aeorian Mageocracy. I've never had sound design like that so clearly paint a picture in my brain. Absolutely WICKED.
