Wow! I was just thinking about that IC yesterday and that I need to know what it means. You are extremely intuitive and timely with your messages. My natal chart indicates Saturn in the 4th house. My Mother was a highly volatile, impatient, aggressive, and had no concern for my well-being as a child but she was a good provider of material goods. I ran away from home at 13. My much younger brothers had experiences of their own. I literally forgot in my 20s. In my early 30s, that pain resurfaced in my dreams causing me nightmares with intense crying. It took me a year to work through and I forgave her. I think my childhood was an initiation involving bullying and victimization from a variety of directions (indecent liberties by a bad uncle and other unwanted male attacks from various people). Casting off the aura of victim by forgiveness for all was a salvation and freedom for me. I am a mother who has loved her own children by balancing my love with the wisdom of my experiences. My Capricorn mother (Mountain top) is turning 76 in January and I think her children may have shown her what parenting looks like. We have adapted and we speak fairly often.

Oh Molly….. so so true! My 2 sisters were “ mean to me growing up” they were jealous! It breaks my heart still! My brother and I are closer! I was painted as the “ Black sheep “ because I love being outside in nature, sports and hanging with my friends! But this “ Black sheep” was the ONE taking care of our sick parents the most,Image that!!! Yes one parent my Mom was there for me / us….. I've been learning about it off and on for 3 years or so and it definitely takes time but is so fun to learn! I started by learning about the big 3 (sun, rising/ASC, and moon) first and then moved on to a little about each planet before diving into aspects. After getting a good grasp on my own chart it got much easier to absorb the more in depth details. Just do a little bit at a time consistently and in no time you'll find yourself going "oh your natal mercury must be getting aspects by this Capricorn new moon!" 😆💜

Have just been wondering about the IC after thinking that perhaps the very intense Christmas and falling out with my brother, and the repercussions of that with other family, may have something to do with Chiron currently hovering over my IC (and very close, too, to Mars in Aries in 4th at 9 degrees). Tho', it could also have been to do with Saturn/Uranus and Venus/Pluto... or all of the above!!! Anyway, once again, thank you, Molly, for sharing your knowledge and wisdom. I have a super packed fourth and tenth houses. My fourth house is 21° of Virgo, with my moon, Pluto, Uranus, and Juno all in libra in my fourth house. My Pluto Uranus and Juno are all retrograde. My 10th house starts with my midheaven in Pisces at 21°, then my mercury and Vesta also in Pisces. Then, I have Chiron, Eris and my Venus all in aries in the second half of my tenth house. A lot going on here!

Interesting topics Molly, I have IC and southnode conjunct 22-24 Pisces, so this year Neptune comes along together with Jupiter in april while simultaneously Venus return is also in Pisces sextiling Uranus. It looks like a total letting go energy. Dont know what to expect but being a spiritual hermit it feels like a spiritual climax and i look forward to it. This was so interesting and fascinating! I have Leo/Cancer on 10th (with my Sun/Mercury/North Node)/9th house(with my Mars) and Aquarius (My Moon/South Node)/Capricorn on my 4th/3rd house. I very much looked up to my Mother (who's Leo Pluto is conjunct my Leo Sun/MC and Cancer Ascendant conjunct my Mars) but was taught to follow the group/crowd/family dynamic including my public image (Mom even picked my prom dress for me), and career (went into healthcare but wanted to write) that I later rebelled against. While my Dad was someone who was always working, not in the picture for a while, was cold and distant.

3rd house Pisces... NN in Pisces... also mercury in 3H conjunct IC but in Aries... so yes Aries rules my 4H where my sun resides... also conjunct the IC... then Jupiter in Taurus in my 4H and almost in my 5H... by sheer seconds is it not in the 5H. Now if we are using whole signs yes it is 5h. Libra is my 10H ruler so Virgo 9H. My SN is in Virgo 9H and thats the only major planet or point in those two. Funny thing is that my mom is a Virgo sun and she is very important to me. I have been blessed with a family that loves and cares for me although things were not perfect growing up they taught me the best they could even while healing their own trauma and bullshit... I didn't understand that as a younger kid and even in my 20s. But now I get it. My parents are going to be divorced soon and it hurts as a 33 year old. Can't imagine being a kid going thru it. Hi:) look at the house meaning. Each house falls in a sign, that will help. Don't need a planet in house, but look at what planet that house falls in based on your chart:) Hope this helps;)

I believe the planets add extra energy, and specify the themes of what is being worked with in the chart. The absence of them could mean that there is less focus on the areas of life the sign, and house rule.

Look to the sign of the house... then determine the ruling planet of that sign. Find that planet in your chart to learn more about the energy of thag planet (aspects and such). Example... say you have an empty 4th house bit your 4th house has the sign of Aries as the owner.. Mars rules Aries...your Mars is in your 9th house. You may have been raised around religion...or maybe you moved around a lot or traveled with your family... maybe there was some aggression or hostility... then again you could grow up to be very passionate in higher education... you could maybe be public speaker or have a belief system that motivates you or inspires others... depending all upon the aspects to Mars, that is. These are just examples I would associate to someone with an empty 4th house ruled by Aries after looking further into the chart as a whole.

I will always remember both of my parents are the ones who “choses” a male to become my mate, and that is not my things on earth, forcing me to marry someone, who is stable enough to feed me amd my future children blah blah blah, this is not me at all, it is really a heartbreaking challenge that sometimes or most of the time, I become my 10th house associated, of course, with my 4th house. 😊
