My IC is in libra, my midheaven is in aries, but my rising is in leo & I was sheltered from nothing in life. My parents abused me, I was the family scapegoat. However, my parents were the type to pretend to be good people outside the home. I waw expected to put everyone else first, while I was treated like I did not matter. I was a people pleaser when I was very young, but I grew out of that people pleasing & started becoming more self focused & I started demanding recoprocity from others. In addition, my parents did not teach me a lot of things, its not because they sheltered me. They were just straight up dysfunctional & failed me in so many ways. So with that said, I had to figure out things by myself. People have said, that I am unpredictable.

Aries 10th house sun and mc, and Libra ic. I was actually raised in a fundamentalist cult and kept away from the world and the people in it until I finally left at 20. It’s just insane how accurate this is for me. My whole life I was groomed to be pleasant and docile for older men. My only goal and purpose I was given was to find a man from that church and have as many children as possible. I’ve been out of it for 4 years, but I still find myself doing so many of the things you’ve mentioned in here. I’ve been trying as hard as I can to overcome my people pleasing tendencies, and I wish I had known how hard those tendencies would make living my day to day life. Particularly when you said what you said about allowing yourself to take up space, not as someone fulfilling roles for others, but simply for yourself; that simple message is something that I’m going to repeat to myself, because it’s surprisingly impactful. Fairly accurate. Except the childhood, you speak of parents protecting the child so much, they’re bought up in unicorns and butterflies. That couldn’t be further from the truth. My dad was abusive in every way to my mum and we grew up in an extremely toxic household. The things hidden from us were the bruises! Mum pretending she’s ok when she really wasn’t. At 4, I could look at her and know how she felt and whether she was afraid. My dad’s 15 year relationship with mums best friend, apparently hidden… but we knew. Emotions and feelings surrounding this childhood were NEVER discussed because that was the generation who believed children didn’t need explanations. My soap box is trying to teach people the damage toxic relationships do to kids. I want people to know, no matter how much you think they’re sleeping. They won’t have heard a thing. Trust me, there’s an instinct that wakes you. Kids hear it ALL. Even if you think they’re not. I use the voice I have now, to speak up and help and guide those who need it. I ensure I’m heard because I had no voice as a child. That part is spot on. I think generational ways of being with kids should be added to round off some explanations. Yes we were over protected and hidden from things. But those things caused more damage and a need for more balance to be bought into my life. At 53, I’ve learnt I don’t need anyone else’s opinions on who I am. I finally know and it’s very empowering. Lovely reading and very accurate otherwise.

MC is the mid heaven aka the highest point in your birth chart. the IC (imum coeli) is the point opposite from the MC. the MC is how the public views you or how people view you in your career while IC is what’s hidden or how u grew up… hope this helps :))
