Wow such a great video. I hope that companies reach out to you to review their products since you do an amazing review. I have less than 3 hours into learning drums and playing the beats of several covers (starting with yours) and I can tell the loud drums in the house are quite the challenge for a learner. Homemade drum pads and cymbal mutes aren’t helping with the learning process one bit and this video is exactly what I needed to see! Thanks

Thanks so much for making this video! I have a 15" floor tom on the 60s ludwig kit I found in a barn- I was holding back on ordering the black hole practice pads because I thought I would have to buy a 16" floor tom- then I saw this video! 16" pad sounds great on my 15" floor tom- tension rod heads hold the rubber edge where the rim edge normally does- just have to rotate it to find a spot where the tensioning nut doesn't buzz on the rim. Love it!

Hey, how do they feel compared to mesh heads? I really dislike the feel of mesh heads like silent strokes. Everytime I get back to normal drumheads I feel like I've been cheating the whole time since doubles etc are much easier on mesh heads...

Hey Molly, I have a question: Gear: 5 piece Pancake set by Groove in Portugal. I am building a practice/portable set. Bought the RTOM V2’s but realized my 5 piece is as follows. 10” small 12” mid tom 14” floor tom 22” bass 12” snare ; trying to figure out if I should purchase a second RTOM or maybe go for the Aquarian Super Pad? Any experience with it or stop fluffing around since I did already kick the money down?
