I have a hard trime transitioning from what ever i am focused on to the next thing or even when people come ask me questions in the middle of it. Doesnt matter really what im doing so this is hard...am i always seeking to escape?

Not necessarily. Something you might try is teaching your children to put their hand on your arm or leg instead of just jumping into their question. This has helped me so much to transition from what I'm doing to paying attention to what they need.

Who watched the kids when you went to homeschool conferences with your husband? How did you keep your kids in bed after bedtime?

Grandparents would watch the kids for us. As for keeping kids in bed, it has all depended on the kid. Some stay in bed real well. Others it took me "patrolling" the hall to make sure they stayed there. I've also used a Kidstible Lamp to help motivate them to stay in bed. Having a good bedtime routine helps tremendously because they know what is expected and it is the same every night. When I get wishy-washy, it all falls apart.
