Special Night - a FUN FAMILY TRADITION | Large Family Ideas!

For more than a decade, we have been doing some form of "Special Night" with each of our children one night a week. Although it has morphed over the years, one thing remains the same - everyone looks forward to being the "Special Night Kid!"

It was difficult at first to give myself permission to change things, and it took a while to find something that would work, but I'm glad we made the change!

Hi Amy I really appreciate you sharing all this! We kind of gave up the special night years ago because of changing schedules and the kids growing. You really inspire me! We do family movie night on Sundays and I'm thinking of blending the two together! It is so nice to hear your thoughts and wisdom. I thank God for you!

Things do change so much as the kids get older, so you have to adjust and try new things. Let me know if you find something that works!
