My mother was beaten every day of her life by her mother until she married my dad at age 15. She has been the most loving and caring mother to me and my 2 sisters all our lives. My sisters and I have often told her how much we admire her for not being like her mother. She is living proof that you can rise above any trauma life throws at you if you are willing. I'm the oldest daughter and I'm 73, my mom is now 92 and the best mother anyone could ever have. My heart goes out to these young girls, and I hope their mother pays the full price for what she's done!

My mom lived until her mid twenties with her abusive adoptive mother (who I always refused to call grandma and glad she’s dead lol). She was extremely abusive and would humiliate her often. She wouldn’t even let her wipe her ass in the bathroom or she’d go insane yelling at her, wouldn’t let her shower when she wanted or alone or she’d beat her up, wouldn’t let her socialize or have friends (she’d get pissed if she found out my mom made friends at school and would switch her to another one). My mom still has physical scars from her life with that vicious woman. She chose to break the cycle, give me and my siblings the best mother she could and she did. She is the best, the sweetest human, you wouldn’t believe she went through what she did and still has such a pure heart. I cannot comprehend how this mother could put the blame on everybody else but herself for what she did. It’s absolutely disgusting, I just hope they died quickly and didn’t agonize in pain 😞😞.

My mother endured horrible abuse her entire childhood, until she was able to move out on her own. That trauma caused anger and made my mom lose control at times. She would scream out of control and hit us with such anger when my dad wasn’t home. One day my oldest sister told my father what was going on. He told her she better stop, she better get professional help or he’s taking all his girls and leaving. She stopped. She got help. My point is…. There is no excuse. There is help out there. We had nothing to do with my moms past pains and trauma yet we were her “punching bag” but she was able to get help and was able to make the best of the rest of our childhood. So many people have no business having children until they get the mental and emotional healing they need. You need to be sound of mind and body to raise a child.

this is not a good comment. I was also abused and able to change after thousands of dollars spent on hospital bills, therapists and psychiatrists that this woman clearly didn't have access to. Most good mental health providers don't accept medicaid... and some states don't offer to adults. You also have to keep in mind how trauma impacts everyone differently. Some get panic disorders, some get sociopathy. So how iit impacted you is irrelevant to her case

This really breaks my heart. 2 young lives taken over a fit of rage with an ex, and not to mention it wasn’t even their faults either. This woman clearly needs a lot of help, I haven’t seen something like this in years and hearing about it now just makes me question mothers nowadays. Yes I know motherhood can be stressful at times, but it isn’t right to go as far as murder. I truly hope she learns her lesson as she’s behind bars possibly for the rest of her life.
