Poor momma, your eyes are SO red! I hope behind the scenes, you're making it through and finding happiness and some type of sleep. Ive got 4, expecting number 5, and i only "sleep" 3 ish hours which somehow gets me through once ive gotten the full 3 hours in me. Not at once. Sadly most sleep comes in 30 minute intervals at night. But theres still peace in those 30ish min intervals. Kids are SO wonderful. But the body and mind get stressed out no matter how much love is there. Just wanted to wish you well when the doors are closed is all. Stay well momma! Thanks for making vids for us moms who have more than 2 or 3 kiddos! My family is SO judgmental about having more than 2 kids and ESPECIALLY more than 3! They make me feel so afraid of being pregnant instead of me not worrying about them and just enjoying it! Even though hubby and i hit all the bases: hes the same dad of them all(so its not like ive ever been alone), we own our own home, we are married, etc! And one of the worst judgy family members we moved INTO our home. Ugh! But God forbid if i was to stand up for myself and have enough of things and tell her bluntly how this is our house and shes free to get tf out. If she wasnt in my home id feel 80% less stressed about expecting our number 5, instead im always trying to hide my stomach in my own home etc. She just starts drama SO bad with anyone she knows that will feed into it and help convince me how im doing so wrong in life. But in reality...theres absolutely nothing that im doing wrong except having my babies. Btw this baby is a girl! Shes only our 2nd girl out of 5 kiddos :) so im happy for dad! Im a boy momma Haha. But i love all babies and im happy as long as shes healthy!!! Well, thats my story right now, and my wishes for YOUR wellbeing. Have a beautiful summer!!!!

I am such a huge fan of your family. You are an amazing, selfless mother to these children. You treat them all with love and are mindful of each children's specific needs and wants. the fact you adopted these children from foster care with their background is absolutely amazing. children from foster care need a family to adopt them and provide the love and support that they need. You help these children in anyway you can!! You always go the extra mile, for example your snackery boards you put out. That takes time and you use your creative side. I definitely think cooking for you is a cathartic experience lol God bless you and your family!!! Question: I saw a video where you went to the laundry mat. Do you not have a washer and dryer? Or you do, but it's more sufficient and less time to just bring all the dirty clothes and wash them all at the same time at the laundry mat? As I think you used 4 or 5 washers at the same time.

Alicia, when I went off to college I had never used a washing machine, prepared my own food, handled my own money, etc. The transition was so hard it was debilitating. Although your love and devotion is a a marvel, please also think about how to help your kids become independent while still under the safety of your roof. All the kids could be doing things for themselves and the rest of the family which would not only free up your time (eventually) but help them be confident in their own abilities.

I was like you too. And I love how she loves them, but I agree, I could have used more life skills at home. I was paralyzed with fear to move out and move on, and with all this love I know they will be ok, but I agree it would help everyone. Little things, like the toothbrush and toothpaste thing. Not being mean. Just an observation. I’m sure she will prepare them before they leave. But like she said she used to read at night when there were less kids, maybe the older ones doing more can free her up to read to the little ones now. But I admire this lady and family unbelievably.

Have you thought about doing a "day in the life" video? I love seeing the routines you have with the kids, but what about for you? Like, what do you do to get ready in the morning, and at night? Now that I think about it, it would probably be really difficult and super exhausting to do an all day video..... but I would love to see more of you! I really struggle with being a mom of just 1 kid, because I am constantly forgetting that I can't pour from an empty cup and I have to take care of myself too. You're a huge inspiration for me!!
