Can you talk about how you discipline your kids? And how you avoid chaos in-home, and in public.

The fact that this woman does all this and yet she and her home always looks so styled and put together blows my mind. I will never complain about my fiancé’s untidiness ever again lol.

I genuinely cry when I watch these. Seeing someone extend their heart in such a special form of mercy brings me to tears. The effort and struggle of raising 8 kids cannot be fully understood. I don’t respect any job as much as I do that of a mother. Some people will never understand what it takes to keep going, to have that energy and patience. And I have so much respect for you Angela. Just bring a fly on your wall, it warms my heart and gives me hope for my own future. I hope I can handle it as well as you. Xx

You're such a GREAT mama!! I only have 4 kid's (2 bios, and then I've been raising my little sister's 2 kiddos for 4+yrs now). Being a parent is ALOT of work, but definitely worth every single second. I have MAJOR respect for you!! Seeing you manage 8 kids is impressive to say the least. I couldn't do it. I guess that's why god only gives you what you can handle, and he knew you could ❤️. I've seen mother's with 1 kid, that can't seem to take care of only that 1 child. Being a good parent shouldn't be something that stands out. It should be something EVERY parent does, but sadly it's not. I'm a certified foster parent in the state I live in. Even though I'm related to my niece and nephew that I'm raising, I still had to go through all the same steps to become a certified foster parent ALL "Foster Parents" here in Oregon have to do if CPS (child protective services) are the ones who placed the kids in your care. January 16th 2016 is when they were taken from their mom and placed with me, and as of October 18th 2018 my sister's CPS case was closed and I got guardianship of them until they turn 18yrs old. This was the 3rd time CPS removed them from their mom, so that's why she didn't get them back! During that 2 years and 10 months the CPS case was open, I seen so many things that I wish I could un-see. Things NO-ONE should see. I had to take classes to become a faster parent, and then more classes to stay a Foster parent. I've seen and heard so many HORRIBLE stories of so many child abuse cases involving mothers and fathers, that couldn't even handle raising 1-2 kids. And here you are litterally CRUSHING IT at being a mom, and a DAMN GOOD ONE to. Your kids are so incredibly lucky that God "chose" you and your husband to be their parents. I'm not trying to be overly emotional, but being a parent is a privilege NOT a burden. But not everyone sees it that way. So I guess the point I'm trying to get across is... it's AMAZING to see you with your babies and to see just how much you love and cherish being their mama. I can tell you get being a mom is a privilege, and that you're thankful for each and every one of them!! So yes, it's a little emotional (in a good way) seeing you being a great mom ❤️. Especially after seeing all the abuse I have 😢. So THANK YOU!!

Just a tip on your bread. You should have let it rise in the bowl you mixed it in instead. The Dutch oven pot is cast iron and is usually cold/cool which is the reason it didn’t rise much. Also place the dough on parchment paper before you place it in the Dutch oven pot to cook. It makes it easier to remove after baking.

One tip for regular bread, not sure if you can use this for sourdough, but if you feed the yeast some sugar in the warm water, then the yeast rises before you mix it into the dough. If the yeast rises in the bowl then the dough will definitely rise
