When I was growing up I felt out of place. I was a tomboy, hated dresses, played in dirt, loved sports, hung out with boys, all that stuff. I even said to my mom once “I want to be a boy.” and her response? “Honey, you’re perfect the way you are.” I never realized until now how blessed and fortunate I was to have someone who supported me in a way that was healthy and grounded in reality. If my mother affirmed how I felt then, right out the gate, I probably wouldn’t be here now writing this comment. It’s scary that facts and logic are thrown to the side for the sake of an ideology, and who pays for it the most? Kids.

At about it age 11 I told my mom I wanted my hair cut short. She asked me why I wanted to look like a boy. I got mad and said the haircut doesn’t even look boyish it was cute and I was sick of long hair (literally just a short bob). Eventually she let me and she agreed the style was cute. Later when I was 13, I told my mom that I wanted to get more boy’s pants. She was uncomfortable and said that wasn’t necessary. I said “Mom, I want functional pockets.” She understood after that lol. Im 23 now and still pretty tomboy-ish. Never denied my female nature, just more comfortable when Im not wearing a “woman costume.” I just feel unnatural in makeup and super feminine clothing

However: I disagree with the statement said in your comment. Having more children improves the population in quantity but having more kids is not stable for most Americans. Depending on house pricing, needs, and other things: it’s harder to meet expenses if we follow the goal of having more kids in the house. A family structure needs a stronger financial security first. Y'all are doing a very good and important thing. Billboard Chris sounds level-headed and sane and quite compassionate. Whenever he speaks about letting tomboys and more effeminate boys be themselves, letting them enjoy life until at least they're 18, I dunno, it is deeply touching. If anything, we need to show more Love to individuals being themselves in their quirkiness and personalities and expressions, then after they're 18 they can assess, if need be, where and who they are. Rather than insisting that a tomboy is really a boy in the wrong body. The silver lining, IMHO, to the trans-activist ideological extremism going on is that Society can mature through being more nuanced and embracing of differences in girls and boys ( who are still female and male according to sex ).

No, once the gender medicine is out of the way and the adult patients are permanently institutionalized, the ire will be on gender non-conformers and homosexuals and even feminists. They'll be blamed for allowing "transgenderism" and then there rights will get curtailed. Jordan Peterson has said the social experiment of men and women working together in the workforce needs to wind down but they are smart and that they'll use the homosexuals to push out the transgenders. I’d like to hear far more discussion about the repercussions for female-to-male “transitions”, which mimic those of early menopause. The effects for m-to-f aren’t nearly as devastating long term.

Both are devastating, and unacceptable. What's being done to girls is horriific, with 100% needless mastectomies advertised on teen-focussed apps like Tiktok, by predatory surgeons, using ads filled with Spomgebob memes and Harry Potter references. But there's also boys as young as 16 being surgically castrated, for no evidence-based reason. To dismiss these cases as "not as bad as the girls" is just callous. The harm being done to NEITHER sex should be dismissed or downplayed. It's harmful, pointless, but also 100% subjective and arbitrary, to claim that it's worse to chemically/surgically mutilate one sex, or the other. It's not a competition. BOTH sexes of children have an absolute rght to be protected from needless mutilation, REGARDLESS of the extent of mutilation. There IS NO acceptable amount of mutilation, for a perfectly healthy child of EITHER sex. And dismissing/downplaying ANY amount of child mutilation is a morally bankrupt position, no matter which sex you 're talking about.

You have to go to the right doctor because not every clinic or practice will offer this. Most doctors don't practice gender affirming care. Most urologists won't do orchiectomies on eunuchs. It maybe easier to undo a vasectomy over tubal ligation. Some doctors don't want to get involved with things if they'll be challenged through lawsuit or have their ethics questioned. Professionally I was a real estate agent and wanted to protect my seller who I represented. I told multiple listing service to knock if off and not tell buyers how many days the house is on the market. My sellers intentions aren't anyone's business and the laws of agency dictate that. Twenty years later they've been suits over misrepresenting number of days on market. I say it's not their business but what it does is it puts downward pressure on the seller who the agent represents. With friends like that who needs enemies. In summation, either professional issues get addressed with organizations through lawsuits or they don't. They'll play fast and loose but professionals don't deviate much from what others in the profession do. MLS, WPATH, and professional organization set guidelines and give out memos but also act to drive profit, policy, and sales.

His response to that was to say, “I must have been really dumb when I was 2.” We talked and said he wasn’t dumb, that a lot of toddlers make statements about pretending or being something they aren’t and they quickly grow out of that stage of pretend when it’s not encouraged or forced to become their entire identity.

But at the same time I was about a head taller than anyone in my class - I simply was growing way faster, it was not an illness or anything. So by modern medicine I should have been medicated and treated for something that wasn't an issue. I also felt there's nothing wrong with me. When I've got my first period, I was laughing, I wasn't scared. If anyone, my mom was. My breasts grew, but the only issue I had with them was that neither mom nor any grown woman had no actual knowledge about proper bras and how to even measure them properly. I eventually got myself into brafitting, but I see how girls with larger sizes can feel bad about having them. While that's a lingerie issue, not a medical one! I'm currently wearing 70L (not as "large", but as the alphabet goes) and it's really not that volumptuous, I wear regular clothes on top. Anyway, I also agree that in modern times feminity and womanhood are demonised. But we're also taght to fear any pain that may come our way.

I had to take my daughter out of grade 2 when the teacher started handing out pronoun forms without consent ( Canada). It was unannounced and consisted of male, female and then other, with a list of made up terminology. That same year, they got an entire speech about gender being a personal choice, with a presentation, I kid you not. There was also a " history day" that was vaguely outlined, and turned out to be reconciliation day filled with brutal video's about native genocide and our white heritage being a burden we must take accountability for, aka you are white and are guilty by inheritance. At the end of the year, this girl in her class started to "identify" as male, other days female and also switched frequently to they/them. She had rainbow hair...shocker. Grade 2 people, grade 2. Obviously spurred on by her parents. While all the other kids did not take it seriously, and basically fought over who could be a dinosaur that day, my daughter was told by me, that she should not have to participate in politics at all. What that meant, she had no idea about, she was in grade two after all. But it did teach her that some things are not important at her age. That learning math and learning how to share was infinitely more important than adhering to tik tok trends. This girl overheard my daughter say something to another boy and started correcting her by saying " That is something a boy would say, not a girl". Which my daughter responded to with " I don't have to care about that. I can say what I want". She got hit, in the face. This was the start of an endless year of parent teacher meetings, bullying and targeting from this girl, obviously spurred on by her parents. Constant e-mails back and forth for proof, forcing my daughter to sit next to this girl so " they could get along better" Without our consent. The final straw was when my daughter mentioned that her parents told her she does not have to talk about "politic things". And this child responded with " Your parents should die". Nothing was done. I have all the e-mails. This type of indoctrination was part of the schoolboard in Canada, and mandated through our government. I fought. I fought with everyone including the principal. It did not matter. I pulled her out of school and homeschooled her for a year before I found a semi-private co-op school. I am still horrified.

sex: gender; the BINARY state of being either male or female in most species of metazoans. In humans, each cell nucleus contains 23 pairs of chromosomes, a total of 46 chromosomes. The first 22 pairs are called autosomes. Autosomes are homologous chromosomes, that is, chromosomes that contain the same genes (regions of DNA) in the same order along their chromosomal arms. The 23rd pair of chromosomes are called allosomes (sex chromosomes). These allosomes consist of two X chromosomes in most all females, and an X chromosome and a Y chromosome in most all males. Females, therefore, have 23 homologous chromosome pairs, whereas males have 22. The X and Y chromosomes have small regions of homology called pseudoautosomal regions. The X chromosome is always present as the 23rd chromosome in the ovum, while either an X or Y chromosome may be present in an individual spermatozoon cell gamete. Rare chromosomal anomalies include X (Turner syndrome); XXY (Klinefelter syndrome); XYY; and XXX. In such cases, the sex of the human is still either male or female, because one’s sex/gender is determined primarily by the gametes produced (see below). An extremely minute percentage of humans are either (anatomical) hermaphrodites or of indeterminate sex (or to be more accurate, disordered sex). That does not negate the incontrovertible FACT that there are but two sexes/genders. In order for reproduction to take place, there is the requirement of a female ovum and a male sperm to unite, and because the entire purpose of the gender/sex dichotomy of most species of animals is to enable procreation, the sexual identity of an individual is best classified according to the gametes produced by the individual in question. There is no third gamete. Cf. “gender”. Both terms (“gender” and “sex”) originate from Latin words: “genus” (meaning “begin”; “birth”; “kind”; “race”; “gender”) and “sexus” (meaning “sex”; “division”; “gender”). If the reader is curious to know the reason for this term being included in the glossary of “F.I.S.H” (apart from the fact that it is actually used in a handful of chapters), it is because, in recent times, LEFTISTS have been desperately trying to change the meaning of the words “sex” and “gender”, in order to serve their immensely-nefarious agenda to destroy civil society with their hateful, wicked, immoral ideologies, especially by promoting the nonsensical idea that a person is able to transition from one gender to the other. ♂️♀️♂️♀️♂️♀️♂️♀️♂️♀️ gender: sex; the BINARY state of being either male or female, and because the entire purpose of the gender/sex division in most species of animal life is to facilitate procreation, the sexual identity of an individual is best classified according to the gametes produced by the person in question. There is no extant third gamete. Therefore, even if a human being possessed a male reproductive system (or, at a minimum, produced spermatazoa, despite not having a complete reproductive system [in other words, a man without a distinguishable penis]), yet was superlatively feminine in every other possible way, he would be required to mate with a biological female in order to reproduce (and, as explained in Chapter 27, marriage is a societal obligation for the vast majority of humans). An extremely minute percentage of humans are either “intersex” (typically referring to those persons who are anatomical hermaphrodites) or of indeterminate gender (that is, not easily determined by a cursory inspection of the external genitalia), but that does not negate the incontrovertible scientific fact that every human belongs to one of only two genders. As far as we know, there has never existed a single human being with the ability to BOTH conceive a child in “his/her” womb and, simultaneously, successfully inseminate a woman (or in more disturbing terms, for a hermaphrodite to inseminate ‘him/herself’). And even if such an individual has existed, that person would be a combination of BOTH male and female, and not some imaginary, novel third gender. In those rare cases in which a human is born without gonads, the other characteristics of sex/gender would be taken into consideration - firstly, the allosomes (sex chromosomes) found in the DNA of every cell, and then, any extant genitalia, since even those females who have experienced the misfortune of being born without ovaries, for instance, usually have their remaining sex organs intact). Cf. “sex”. Both terms (“gender” and “sex”) originate from Latin words: “genus” (meaning “begin”; “birth”; “kind”; “race”; “gender”) and “sexus” (meaning “sex”; “division”; “gender”). So, essentially, the only significant distinction between the two terms is that the etymology of “gender” pertains to the beginning of things, as can be plainly seen by the other English words that originate from “genus”, such as “generic”, “genetic”, and “generate”, whilst “sex” is a scrupulously-literal translation of the Latin cognate “sexus”. The mere fact that the word “genitals” (referring to reproductive organs) is very closely related to the Latin “genus”, is further evidence of the assertion that the term “gender” refers to the binary division of human (and of course, many non-human) sexual identity, and NOT to any taxonomy based on emotion, feelings, psychology, or any other non-biological categorization schema. If the reader is curious to know why this term is included in the glossary of “F.I.S.H” (apart from the fact that it is actually used in a handful of chapters), it is because leftists have been desperately trying to change the meaning of the word of late, in order to serve their immensely-perverse agenda to destroy civil society with their hateful, wicked, sinful, OBJECTIVELY-IMMORAL doctrines. Until relatively recently, the word “gender” has ALWAYS been used in the etymologically-accurate sense of the term. And even in the former case (where the word has been used to denote something other than the sexual binary taxonomy), predominantly in those places where leftist ideologues comprise a significant portion of the population - mainly Anglophone countries at present, although by the time you are reading this document, probably every nation on earth, with the exception of Islamic lands. See also “leftism”. Ultimately, the term “gender” is not absolutely synonymous with the word “sex” (otherwise, why would progenitors of the Latin tongue have coined two distinct words for two slightly divergent concepts), but it most definitely does not refer to the notion or notions invented by leftists (those who adhere to adharma), especially the idea that “sex” refers to a binary division of human biology and/or anatomy, whereas “gender” refers to how one identifies according to societal norms in regard to sexual roles. For example, most all leftist ideologues define “woman” as “someone who identifies as a woman”, which is a wholly circular definition. Those of us who stand for dharma (righteousness) must push-back with all our might against the adulteration of the language. If you are truly wise and intelligent, you would surely have recognized several amazing secrets contained within the body of this treatise, “A Final Instruction Sheet for Humanity”. However, perhaps the most secretive secret of all, shall forthwith be revealed: It is IMPOSSIBLE for a human being to change his or her sex/gender! (You are implored to keep this secret - do not tell a soul!!!) For example, a man who castrates himself and wears a skirt or a dress, is simply a mutilated, transvestinal male - not a woman, nor is he a female. Similarly, a woman who attaches an appendage resembling a phallus to her crotch and dons a pair of pantaloons, is merely a transvestinal woman with a fake penis between her thighs, and not a man, nor a male, in any accurate sense of the terms. Actually, I would contend that any “man” who excises his reproductive organs was always a dickless “man”, metaphorically speaking. N.B. Even though the glossary entries “gender” and “sex” are worded somewhat differently, they could easily have EITHER been interchangeable, or else, worded identically, since, in practice, they possess the same meaning. Even when the term “gender” (or any non-English cognate of the word) is used in grammar, it indicates whether a particular noun or pronoun is masculine, feminine or neuter, although most nouns in the English language do not have a gender (neuters).

@TinnyDee Okay, let's flesh out the Hippocratic Oath. What is meant by "harm" in this context? Surely a threat to life or limb constitutes harm--no one's disputing that. Is leading an undesirable lifestyle harmful? Do we consider undesirability from the patient's perspective, or the doctor's? For example, if the doctor is a Jehovah's Witness, could he deny a blood transfusion on the grounds that you might regret committing the sin of receiving one? It's interesting to me that people can take the Oath to be axiomatic, but also accept the attitude of "give me liberty, or give me death!" They are directly opposed.

I agree with you. Although it shouldn't matter who the person is doing the interviewing (male/female/old/young, etc etc) it kind of does because that is the context they're coming from. Not sure what it is- just feels a bit odd with the three males. Maybe a male protecting female vibe about it which comes across in the women's sports debates too. Mix of demographics for the discussion facilitators would be ideal. As an aside, I do agree that the trans men shouldn't be in the women's sports but I think it needs to be very careful not to cross over into society hen-picking at any masculine-looking female in sports and them being treated differently eg being asked to do testing which is not asked of others. There's something not right about that. Biological, physical advantage is a fundamental part of every sport. You might like to think your 5ft6 self has a chance on the Olympics basketball team if you trained hard enough but it's unlikely. Policing physicality too much I think is the wrong route. Saying no to trans man in the women's sport I agree with but then it should stop at that. The women who just look more masculine than the average should be left well-alone. If God gave them an advantage to be stronger than the average women than good for them, that may be their strength in life, rather than beauty or intelligence, we all have our strengths. If physicality is going to be policed, then the same should be done to male sports. The very strongest and most masculine investigated as to why they have that advantage and removed from the arena. I was quite against what happened in the Olympic boxing. It did have a bit of a witch hunt vibe with those poor masculine looking boxers. If you have made a decision as a woman to do boxing as a sport (and we've got to agree it's an uncommon choice of sport for women) then you'd expect to come across some pretty manly kind of women. Even playing soccer when I moved overseas I found there were a lot of butch, rough women. I realised they were too rough for me personally, well at that club anyway. 😅 Just realised I've gone on a massive tangent with this. Never mind.
@robws007Ай бұрын
@@emmy-kz1pj I agree with everything you said! There is a "slippery slope" between limiting the participation of trans women in women's sports and then "policing women's bodies"... unfortunately, that is the grey zone that gender ideologues have exploited. During the Paris Olympics, there were two boxers in the women's category who were intersex (XY chromosomes but not fully developed males with some female attributes, so they were socialized as female, etc.). They both won gold medals in a sport where people punch each other! So, not as clear-cut as a trans women competing in boxing, but still very unfair to the women with XX chromosomes and testosterone in the normal female range who simply can't punch as hard (or run as fast, as there have been cases of intersex women winning Olympic medals in the 2012, 2016 and 2020 Olympics). If everybody argued in good faith and showed empathy, this issue wouldn't be so contentious... unfortunately, there are Luddites who say things like "there are only two genders" and equally ridiculous statements coming from the other end of the opinion spectrum saying "trans women are women". Neither of those statements are true IMHO, so why can't we discuss it calmly and logically?
