Please upload more. These videos make me cry. I can't imagine ever going through with this. I'm blessed by God for coming across your account in a KZbin video about Alzheimer's and even though you had to do everything you could to take care of your mother... to repay all the efforts and love and compassion she gave you, I could never sense any ungratefulness or stubborness but understanding, mercy, hard-work, sincerity, and strength. So much God-given strength. God bless you... so much... Love from MCGI 💐🙏💕

Thank you for your kindness and support. I really needed to hear your words as they are a blessing as well. I don’t hear much, if at all from my family, so knowing that these videos touch you or help you and others see a part of this disease they wouldn’t normally be able to see is a blessing to. This was really hard but missing mom is harder than I expected it would be. We were very close so there wasn’t even a second thought about needing to do this for her, for both of us. I promise there will be more videos and I have a very special one that I’m working on now that will be ready for Christmas. It’s hard watching these videos that I’m putting together for it but it’s going to happen soon. God bless you and thanks again for your kindness. ❤️

Trust me when I say that I’m only half the person my mom is. I wish you could have known her before her Alzheimer’s. Actually I just put a video on this account of her in 1990. Mom’s 83rd and last birthday was posted here yesterday. Thanks for your kind words. It’s been a really tough week.

For those concerned about large gatherings during the age of Covid-19, what you’re hearing in the background is a video of a previous family reunion that coincided with two family member’s birthdays. I oftentimes play this video for mom on a monitor over her bed in an attempt to help her remember her family both living and deceased. It’s important to be creative when dealing with Alzheimer’s disease in order to keep your loved ones safe, comfortable and entertained. Especially if they’re bedridden or unable to feed or take care of their own hygiene. Alzheimer’s sucks but it’s manageable with a ton of patience, love and prayer.
