It’s actually a very well written and comprehensive book kzbin.infoUgkxhgbP-6hUnXu_QRaoHgLztgsI0YF3HqR0 . I wanted to pair this with an updated book on local codes to start planning a post-retirement dream shop. I think I have just about everything I need between the two. The extra plans available for purchase towards the end are priced almost as much as full home plans, not little sheds however.

I purchased 11 acres of beautiful Mountain View land in Tennessee for $420 a month. Paid it off after I sold my home in Texas after 5 years. I built a tiny home for $30,000 with all the comforts of home. The tiny home in this video is nice but way too costly. Of course I did most of the work myself. One day I will put it on KZbin.

Not all Tiny Homes cost 100K, usually its 40-50K, and even then if you are careful you can go even cheaper. I believe its up to the person. The point of a Tiny House in my opinion is to have a life that isn't filled with paying for expensive bills or a mortgage. It could save you a lot of money in the long run. It also gives you more freedom to move and not feel weighed down by all this stuff that you may never use every day. Tiny Houses aren't for everyone, but I really believe the whole Tiny movement is to show an alternative way of living, not everything has to be cut an dry if that makes sense. I'm not trying to cause any hate, I just felt I needed to share that everyone has a different lifestyle they want to pursue, and for me, a tiny house is exactly what I want for my future.

As with any home, maintenance is the key to how long it lasts, as well as quality of construction. As long as it is maintained and built well it should last a very long time. 100K is more than the average tiny house, but it is worth it if built well because it can be paid off much more quickly than a typical home, and the bills are much lower, enabling the homeowner to save more money. For a person without their own building skills, 100K isn’t out of the ordinary for a quality professionally built tiny home.

In my opinion, this single Mom made a right choice. She sold her house and used that money to build her tiny home, very smart! Paying $450 a month is nothing compared to paying $1,000 to $2,000 for rent for an apartment. Plus rents for an apartment go up each year. During this COVID pandemic, this single Mom does not have the stress or worry that she can be evicted from her apartment if she doesn't pay the rent. I like how this Mom gave her son a bigger room with space, standing room, and privacy. I love the views this Mom has. So relaxing to look at that every day 😍 Lots of storage spaces in this home. Her son looks very happy As a single parent, you have to look for ways to save money and be in a budget. Hard with only one income and paying so many bills in an apartment.

@000 I think the swinging on the beam was to get to painting area, but point still made. These are still essentially mobile homes and depreciate, only with the added problem of not accommodating you as you grow old very well. In this lady's case I'd say 100% of the benefit here is the location. Owning a real house there is ridiculously expensive so if that's your goal this is a way to do it. When it comes time to find a new living arrangement hopefully she's saved up money because she already cashed out her real asset.

And even after you pay off your land and modular home, you will have to pay annual taxes on it. Those taxes will never be lowered, they will only rise as local government needs more and more money. So here in America, we never truly own our own homes and the land it sits on. If you fail to pay your annual taxes, your land and home can be taken. And that is another reason the Tiny House Movement started.

Universal healthcare isn't a good idea. one of the reasons is when you get to a certain age and need a medical surgery you are put in front of a board that decides if you are worth the surgery or if you are to old and just need to die. You have no choice in a universal healthcare. that is why so many people with serious issues like cancer come to the US. *quality health care that's more pricey or spotty healthcare with no choice that is taken out in your taxes.*

Stunning location. Jackson Hole, WY was part of my honeymoon trip. I have very fond memories of the place. The son has a great voice. If he publishes anything audio, I think he has a head start towards success. Wishing them all the best. He seems content with his space, which is so important when you’re a teenager. Mine are very vocal about their needs. If he goes away to college, dorm space should not be an issue. I also like how the mom gets to carve some more work/ life balance, in that she doesn’t need to work crazy hours to afford a place to live and to feed and care for her family. I love the little artist nook she carved out for herself. It makes me feel happy when you find people who love their lifestyle.

There is a distinct possibility that the problem with the fridge will go away once you move the 12V battery somewhere it doesn't get very cold. Any battery that gets really cold looses it's charge, which is probably also why i sort of got the hint the problem is mainly there during the winter (when it gets really cold 'in the non-insulated non heated shed'), find another easy place to move that 12V preferably inside (and maybe even get a small solar panel), and the problem will very likely go away... happy living :)

Those houses don't cozy and brought sadness. Your Great country ( USA) forced humans to live in chicken barns. Before watching your content I'm was thinking Russia is a bad country. But your videos gave me the possibilities to change my mind about my home country. FROM RUSSIA WITH LOVE... Maybe I even subscribe to your channel.

We love how this tiny house is built. A lot of people nowadays consider living away from the city and build their own tiny house. We will send this video to our customers to get nice ideas.

Comments were at angel number 333 before I write this. Its a very nice tiny home but that's a lot of money.U would of thought for 100k the builder would if put in the 1000 dollar toilet. In Texas these are built typically in the 30k range. I've had builders tell me for 80k they can build 800 to 1000 sq ft. Home which is small for the typical American. I guess cause she paid cash she's only paying the lot rental, seems like in Wyoming you could buy land for that much a month. I know here in Texas you can get at least an acre for that much a month. Also I'm wondering if that can be moved if he gets tired of her on the land. It looks tall like 2 story instead of typical one level ones on wheels you can move.

450$ I think too much for Lot rent , even you have your own house.... I think better find some another parking place with less rent. 😎 And I think you can watch other tiny house videos and can sold this house and can have tiny house on wheels with more space design of living and kitchen area. 😎☺️

How is she saving though? If she's on her friends land who had to ask her land Lord. So she's paying rent ECT and the price to build it and pay rent. May as well live in a normal place.

They are blessed, a good son to a good mother, I hope they can continue to have such beautiful bonding experience for many years to come, and that he could reciprocate the care back to his mother in her more mature days. I ENJOYED THIS ONE, the builder did a great job for this mom and son duo!
