@John 14:6 KJV There is no hypocrisy in what she is saying. It is unhealthy to deny who you really are, and put up a false front to pretend that you are what you are not. No one is praising people who are closeted. We are encouraging them to be honest. It is psychologically damaging to fight against one's own true nature, to live in fear, and it is damaging when others try to repress that truth as well. You are right, it doesn't end there; too often those who stay in the closet will hurt others who may be like them, out of fear and jealousy. The closet is not a safe place to be.

@John 14:6 KJV I am not the one who is confused here. I am talking about the truth of a person, and you are trying to tell me a lie. A person who is going about life happily and productively is not a danger to anyone, no matter who they love. But a person who preaches hatred of those who are not like him is hurting those he denounces as well as himself, whether he is attacking their sexual orientation, their skin color, or their beliefs - or lack thereof. Freedom is the right to live your life without harming others. That right does not extend to taking the liberties you freely enjoy away from anyone else. Another person's sexual practices, of whatever variety, should have no impact on your life.

Connor Wilson nope, there have been some of these tours where one of the partners says “me” “mine”, “I” a lot. One of the tours, the majority of the comments were people aghast at it. Not all couples are the same, relationships aren’t cookie cutter...a good learning moment for awareness
@connorwilson8450

@Alphacentauri819
@Alphacentauri819 4 жыл бұрын
Connor Wilson it’s sadly not as abnormal as you’d think. Narcissism is alive and well and as a medical professional I’ve seen plenty of people in relationships with this dynamic. Many people in relationships have altered views on relationships, themselves and others. Additionally if you take anti social personalities and people on the spectrum, those are additional types who speak this way. I’ve worked with many, many people and attachment styles (which originate in childhood) false narratives, cognitive distortions are rampant. There are few truly healthy couples!
@Alphacentauri819
@Alphacentauri819 2 жыл бұрын
@ᛉC. Ó Dubhlaoichᛉ sweetheart. I’m not complaining. I’m educating. Big difference. Your narratives say a lot more about you, then the “other” you’re railing against. You can create your own inner peace...or you can try to demand that the world work the way you want. That’s a waste of time/energy. You worry about you. You conduct yourself in the best way possible. Trying to control others is immature, narcissistic, and one of the huge problems in society. You aren’t in charge of the world. External locus of control...look that up... & see how it applies to you. After that, cognitive distortions...and how those influence how you see the world, your expectations, and your demands that others conform to those. Hope you can heal, learn & evolve. You’re currently more harmful, with that current mentality...than what you’re complaining about. If you can’t see it...anosognosia might be at play.

If I could comment on everything wonderful about this house it would take up way too much space ! I look at videos every single day and I've yet to see something as fantastic as this one. These ladies have done a amazing fantastic job! It's functional ,artistic comfortable, and there's plenty of room for upcoming children. I have learned so much from just watching this episode I never knew about the batteries that were shown here and the fact that they found a nice long-term space. And I know they wouldn't want to sell this but if they did I would take it in the second and not change a thing ! Right down to that hanging shelf with the bead board behind it to the multiple heaters it's perfect ! And I love the part where the black cat's tail just passes the camera lol, I know because I have three myself... Wishing much success and happiness to this family !!

With that first-floor bedroom and the spacious-feeling kitchen, this home has the kind of standard house livability I'm looking for in a tiny home, and I wish Sam and Mary much happiness in their beautiful space! Because of your chronic pain issues, I think I'd find a way for any future child to sleep on the main floor for the first several years. Start out with a small bassinette and then later make up the couch. When the child is old enough you could eventually move them upstairs but still keep a good deal of their items (including clothing) on the main floor. You could also teach them how to make their own simple bed in the loft (at maybe age 5 or 6) so as to alleviate you from having to crawl around.

Really excellent design. Always thought having the kitchen and bathroom at opposite ends of the house is the best idea and never understood how more people don’t do that. A lot DIYers want to simplify their plumbing. Putting the kitchen and bathroom next to each other really helps, especially because all tanks have to live under the trailer. That’s why a lot of tiny houses do the bathroom next to kitchen thing.

This Tiny house is very nice, I love the outside and the parent bedroom. But they should think again if they going to have kids, if they really want to cramp them in this little space above! They should invite two toddlers from family and friends to stay for a week in a rainy season!

7:03 there's a giantex portable mini compact twin washing machine and it's 109$ and it's cheap for a washer and dryer instead of spending 1,000$ on each one and there is some steps to it but I think it would help. Edit: forgot to mention it's on amazon

I guess if you built the same design, you could put a Laddar on the wall in the lounge-room, up into the Loft and they could also get up to the Loft that way if someone was using the Bathroom 🙂👍

Your tiny house is gorgeous! I think you'll need to install a lithium ion battery bank at some point and maybe more solar panels if you're going to make it through the dark days of winter. Also, I'd prioritize a washing machine if you're planning to have kids - you will need it! Well done.

Very cute. I love the outside look and all of the wood inside. It however is not very baby-proofed 😂😂😂. My son would literally tear that place apart!!! I would love to stay in a tiny home to see how truly liveable it really is. I love the idea of saving so much money and having a potentially moveable home. I imagine if one has land, it’s a pretty good way to save money as well.

I love this! Love the storage under every stair. Also I feel like you may actually be living in or very close to a park I lived in as a child in an 8' by 38' just about nine miles South of Joliet. My friend has said there is a new truck stop built where some of that park was but it used to be almost a jungle in the center. 😊 Treasure Island. The remnants of a very old Drive In Movie were still in the thickest part of the trees then. Love the whole design❣️

WOW!! I love your feature wall in the kitchen!! Can you tell me where you ordered your shelves from please? GORGEOUS well thought out plan and BEAUTIFUL design!! Love your style. I’m a 57yo woman and hoped that your generation would accept LOVE IS LOVE better than my generation. I’m sorry for the negative comments people who hide behind their computers post and wish you both MUCH success in creating a beautiful family to live in your beautiful home. As for all the words of advice on kids in your space, you both seem very thoughtful-your build proves it- and I’m sure like any new parents, you’ll figure it out as you go along. Much happiness, good health and blessings are wished for you both!!

@@harvestmoontinyhouse74 - I have viewed several videos in which the owners mention putting heating tape (search 'heating tape for water pipes') and pads (search 'heating pads for RV water tanks') on or around your water tanks and pipes. Also, you may want to consider running ducts from your propane heaters to the utility "shed" on your trailer and to where the large tank is located.

Awesome couple; fantastic home! I love how you both acknowledge that while it is so incredible, it does have some trouble spots you have to work around. That helps others realistically design a home without the expectation that every single area is going to be perfect. Very well done. I hope you will both be happy there for a long time. Looking forward to a revisit when you start your family! Enjoy!
