This episode made me realise that this is more than an idol anime. In essence, it's about the people behind a v-singer like @figaro_qpt and @ririsya Also, with the concert scene, part of it feels like Nanami Urara’s live where she’s a v-singer BUT has live concert with herself ON STAGE albeit the lighting is manipulated in a way that her face is not shown. She also had one music video of the same concept.

This anime is such a hidden gem, i really like how they delve into the creative process behind performances and all that kinda of things. That is what drew me into Oshi no Ko as well. Also I love your breakdowns of each episode your doing a fantastic job!

the 2 moles thing was theorized 2 eps ago, it was just so obvious it would happen. Yeah, legit have no idea where they will go with the mother now, can go many directions... hyped to know. About my theories from the ep, I will just paste my MAL comment: Clearly it's a plan by that production team, considering the presentation, and not just Kano's mother. But I wonder if it was a indication by her first (as we saw her watching the live on her laptop), in a way to affect/hit her daughter. Also found it curious that we got a couple shots of the girl Kano supposedly punched, and she didn't seem particularly annoyed for seeing/learning about Kano there...

Mother got the idol group back to gether without her daughter yeah mom has something against her daughter. Mom is gonna steal her daughter's idea. If mahiru does do art for the agency and mother will tell her contractualy can't do art for someone else. Mello has always been jelous of Kano. Melllo started that fight that Kano took the heat for

I'm hoping that by the end of this series Kano confesses her feelings to Mahira personally I think that Mahira kind of already knows how she feels about her because at least with her we know she's not dance like some other MC's

If you have ever seen an anime called Tenshi No 3P of Angel's 3 peice back in 2017 there was a character who drew art behind the band while they performed a song, kinda like Mahiro does

I think Kano, similarly to ep 5, tried to kiss a previous member of the idol group, but things didn't go so well, she got punched and just returned the punch.

I doubt it. The person she punched is someone she was already having problems with already. Kano already mentioned before that she didn't get along with some of the members of the idol group.

Koharu was absolutely hitting on Kiwi. I don't know why Andrew still insists on the "scouting" thing. She was just another girl in the driving academy, I see absolutely no signs of her being a talent scout.

Well, I laughed at your stupid theory last week, so this week I'll leave you my own stupid theory in repayment. It's rather less fun than yours, though, so perhaps it's not a fair trade. My suspicion regarding Kano's past (which I _really_ hope turns out not to be the case) is that one of the other Sunflower Dolls, upset about Kano being in the group seemingly because her mom is a producer, tried to sink Kano by lying that Kano came onto her. And Yukine, wanting her career not to suffer from being associated with a _filthy lesbian,_ "downplayed" the charge to assault, so that she could pin the whole thing on Kano and ensure that her daughter would never have a career in the public eye again. In which case, reaching out to try and poach Yoru would absolutely be sabotage, at least in part: after all, if Kano claws her way back into the limelight anyway, then not only was all that prior cruelty wasted, but Yukine winds up yet again in "danger" of people finding out that her daughter isn't "normal".

It’s all this stuff like drama tubers that turns me off this anime, I watch anime to escape all this modern crap, I don’t want to watch an anime about it.
