i can imagine izuku holding his notebook, doodling katsuki's hero suit and magically gaining a new quirk. ( bonus ) : if katsuki were to ever find out he'd gotten another quirk from one for all, then he'd get cocky and assume he's trying to downplay him. oh! also, i can see how izuku could get his quirk naturally, but being a manga he'd for sure have to go through some knee deep shit to get one.

Honestly I feel like that this wouldn't be his natural quirk, Have you noticed that quirks really come from personality and environment, look at katsuki, he has explosions and a violent personality and sort of a crazy early childhood, and Izuku, had a calm, writing-filled childhood, so likely his quirk would revolve around writing, but not be like a death note thing, more like of a "Whatever I draw comes to life" quirk

Yeah, but Mitsuki (Katsuki's mom) has a quirk that lets her sweat a highly explosive substance. The only difference between her quirk and her son's is that he has the ability to ignite it on command. There are defiantly genetic ties to the quirks. Iida's family all have engine quirks, Tsu's all have frog quirks, the whole Toderoki family drama. I like the idea that environment plays a role because I am sure it does, but genetics absolutely matter.

Then again the quirks come from the biological parents of said person with a quirk, use todoroki or even Ilida as an example. Todoroki’s parents, (Rei and Enji Todoroki) have an ice and a fire quirk. Obviously creating an ice-fire combo. IIida’s whole family has an engine/accelerator on a body part. Inko’s quirk is lifting small objects with the mind and the father’s is supposedly fire breathing. It would make sense his quirk would be telekinesis because of his mother. The environment of the person when developing a quirk is something to take under consideration, but it isn’t a massive deal. Considering that, it would make the most sense that his quirk would be telekinesis canonically. Though I do think that a writing type of quirk would be cool, it just wouldn’t fit.

I would honestly see Deku's OG quirk being the ability to absorb, store and breath fire with his flames turning blue temporarily when he has reached his body's limit with them turning normal orange after he expels enough fire since the quirk makes sense Inko has ability to pull objects Hisashi supposedly has the ability to breath fire so put those together you get fire breathing but you can absorb fire or suck it in to your body like a vacuum
