This video had me dying. Yep, that's what would happen. But I think my late grandmother wouldn't have fallen for this. She would've probably looked at it and be amazed. She would have asked if it was real. Once we told her it wasn't and explained to her that it was how it was done she wouldn't have tried to convince herself that it was real. My grandmother passed away in 2004. She was 87. She was very well taken care of and watched over by us regardless of living in a senior citizen housing, where you can request aids to do health checks, similar to nursing aids. She had a TV, landline phone and a VCR that was really only there for family members who would come visit on Sundays and might want to watch a movie.The very last thing she told me during her years declining health, was that as soon as she was better, she was going to get her house together and learn how to use the computer. For someone who grew up before TV she already knew what the new kids on the block were using.

Me and me Ma had to just delete my Da's Facebook. He was getting hacked clicking on bullshit, buying dumb shit from Temu/Wish adverts and getting annoyed that it was crappy, and just generally getting wound up by the random crap it was sending to his feed when all he was supposed to have it for was talking to a small number of relatives and old friends. Eventually we just stepped in and got rid of the lot. He still watches stuff on KZbin and Netflix, and he'll always have his shitty tabloid newspaper for this daily dose of nonsense.
