This story just screams karma! She treated you like you didn’t belong in your own home, tossed out your belongings, and replaced you with her stepkids. Now that you own the house, I hope you show them the door without any guilt, actions have consequences, and they need to learn that. love it

The fact that your mom of all people threw away your stuff for her stepkids is just wrong on so many levels. And now that you inherited the house, I bet they’re scrambling to figure out how to “make peace” with you. Don’t let them manipulate you, this is your home, and they already showed you how they really feel about you.

I cannot believe the audacity of your mom-throwing away your stuff to make space for her stepchildren like you didn’t matter? And now that you inherited the house, I bet they’re regretting all their decisions! I hope you stand your ground and make sure they know you’re the rightful owner because they didn’t respect you when it mattered most...

Wow, this really hits hard! Your own mom threw away your things to prioritize her stepchildren, and now they want to act all surprised when you inherited the house? I’d love to know if they’re suddenly acting sweet to get on your good side now, stay strong and don’t let them take advantage of you again...

That’s so heartbreaking and infuriating at the same time. For your mom to throw out your belongings to make her stepchildren feel “at home” shows where her priorities were, and it’s completely unfair. I’m glad you inherited the house, are they trying to guilt-trip you now, or are they suddenly all friendly??? be strong

2nd story - only 1/2 way thru, and I'm sitting here and yelling, "Wake up and smell the roses, buddy. Or maybe it's the fertilizer used on the roses."

The second story was just bat-shit crazy. A guy vanishes overseas for several years, yet expects his family to put their lives on hold for him - also wanting them to play happy families (acting to _his_ script) whenever he returns home! Eventually, he decides he wants his wife (& kids) go drop everything & move to that country to be with him (a place where women are treated worse than pet dogs). His entitlement throughout the story is pretty obvious, too. Everyone must bow to his whims, or there must be something wrong with them (cue the paranoid delusions). Eventually he secretly returns to his home town to stalk his wife with a GPS tracker on her car, apophenically finding patterns in _everything_ she does (whether they're there or not). Eventually he decides to confront his wife. Not like a rational adult, but by pushing his way into the shop she was in, jumping to conclusions (Why? He doesn't say.) & getting in a fight with the guy he thinks his wife was having an affair with. When his upset & shocked wife admits to having had a FWB affair over several years (+) [ _A conversation which may or may not have happened entirely in his head_ ] he goes to see his mother. His mother acts conciliatory, trying to support his marriage, so he - in a paranoid fugue - decides this means that she knew about his wife's infidelity [ which may not exist outside his head ] & is conspiring with his wife against him. After this he drives around in his car, has a private pity party in a motel before [ completely forgetting that he has kids ] buggering off back overseas to apparently start his new career as a supervillain... [ *_"I'll show them! I'll show them all!! Bwa-ha-ha-ha!!!"_* ] This has to be written by an AI. I can't imagine any real person acting this nuts & admitting it on Reddit. (+) - If she did have an affair, then he was hardly blameless, having physically & emotionally abandoned his family for years.

First story. The details of employment apparently are not necessary to the story. But I find it odd that noah, mom, and Greg are all home all day everyday and apparently have no jobs. Where is your money coming from?
