SMH. All I can think about when men & women divorce their spouses simply for ambitious reasons is HOW DARE YOU. How dare you make a commitment to someone under God, and break it because your spouse “isn’t doing enough” or “isn’t good enough for you now”. People who think like that don’t deserve to be married because they lack the understanding of true commitment and loyalty, and standing by your word and your vows. FOR BETTER OR WORSE, for richer or poorer, in sickness & in health! If you don’t believe in that, don’t be married! That simple. Stay single & get your money. Although this mindset is not exclusive to bw, it's mostly bw who have a story about how them being the breadwinner made their man feel less than a man. I've worked with men of many races who have earned less than their wives and it was rarely an issue. I think bw are more prone to belittle their men for not earning more. And it can cause a resentment to build that can come across as insecurity after it's been bottled for so long. An Indian couple I once met both had great careers but the wife made more money than the husband. The wife was a doctor and the husband was an engineer with NASA. No issues whatsoever with her making nearly double what he earned. I doubt she'd ever be in her husband's ear telling him he has to do more so he can make more money, because she respects the important work he does that is benefiting society as a whole as he's provided support on some very important projects. It's sad that some bw can't see past dollars, even when they have plenty of money themselves. This guest equated making less than her as being unambitious and not driven. Speak again on the Indian, the husband has to be highly ambitious and driven for the work that he does. The woman on this show would probably tell a man in a similar position, that he needs to quit his job putting satellites in space that make all our lives easier so he go do something less important to society so he can make more than her.
@DVX7559 ай бұрын
So true. For some men, Honor, duty, respect, service are far more important than mere money. There are people who serve the country that make almost nothing, but are far more important that some bank manager making 6 figures and easily replaceable. When my father passed away, he had a Military Honor guard present and my mother thought it was the most honorable thing she had ever seen and broke down sobbing uncontrollably when they honored his service and presented her with the American flag, when that 6 figure bank manager dies.....she will just die. For some reason BW use money against their own men, which only hurts THEM in the long run.@@stronginthewind

“I have multiple business.. I want to make millions” Ma’am… you have multiple hustles that aren’t successful. Had they been working well, you would have had your millions already at age 44. You don’t want a 250k man, you want financial help because your life plan ain’t working out the way you want them.

“I’d rather deal with the man who has the money but not the time?” So what is the definition of a relationship? “I want to be his peace when he walks through the door,” but “a long distance relationship is fine.” “Driven but laid back?” You mean like that man on the porch sipping lemonade? Wouldn’t it be nice just to ease into the other chair and join him in quiet repose? You know, be his peace.

As a 44yo woman who wants to sit on the porch and drink with my man, "dating" a millionaire has been my biggest downfall. I don't chase $ I chase love and live to make memories. He has tried to gaslight me into thinking I am weak for wanting the simple life.

Women really don't listen when men say they don't care what a woman makes. Even if she makes good money, who wants to be a stepdad? Real shit. I don't really see how a successful marriage will come from that unless you and your man built something together. I guess my point is that's gonna take some hard work. I mean i know of couples who may not work as much and they're like 2 passing ships in the night. Im just a regular 9-5 and it was hard to make time for anyone. The way they make these requests you'd think they were giving out successful men in the free cheese line. Girl hush😅
